    • The public baths and the staff were great! It was very quiet. There is also a Family Mart attached to the facility.

    Cons -

    • I saw 2 kind of bugs on my bed. A tiny small cockroach ? and a tiny unknown bug. Very small and old.
    • The restaurant was being remodeled, so no breakfast available. The rooms are a little too small - even for Japan.
    • Parking was very limited. The lift operation can be improved as sometimes I had to wait for 30 minutes during peak hours

Parking was very limited. The lift operation can be improved as sometimes I had to wait for 30 minutes during peak hours

Loved having access to public bath since the rooms tend to be bit smaller. Beds and pillows are great.

Hotel was not the easiest to get to if you have big luggages. Coming from the sendai jr station, you will have to go up and down many stairs to get to the hotel. Coming from the itsubashi subway also requires you to climb the stairs. To skip the stairs, we had to take a very long way that involved entering another hotel to use its escalator to get to road level. Perhaps there a wheel friendly path that APA can provide early instructions for?

The location and staff are very good.

The climate control is done centrally. The room was very hot . To open a window is not possible as there was four train tracks directly behind the building.

    Clean with good facility

Elevators are very crowed during 8-10 pm, the waiting time is relatively long. There is smell of smoke of cigarettes in the elevators

Efficient electronic check-in, with helpful staff to assist. Smart room with all that you need. The restaurant was not very busy on the evening I stayed. and I wondered if this was perhaps because it was not very good. However, I was very pleasantly surprised to find the food was excellent, and I was glad I had chosen to dine in.

Can't fault it. Would stay there again

There is a garage for parking for about 1200 yen/ night and the rooms are small but comfortable.Well located it allows to reach interesting spots of the city withing working distance.

    9GarthPosted on: 3-23-2025

Excellent location and facilities very close to the main Sendai station. 5 min walk.

Lift structure with the amount of guests was a very long wait and made it hard to get from room to lobby.

    9GeorgePosted on: 3-17-2025

Comfortable, spacious (at least for APA standards) with a great restaurant on site. Great view of the Shinkansen depending on the side you end up on!

Not as close to the train station as hoped but still walkable.

    4YumikoPosted on: 3-13-2025

My room was too small. I couldn't open my suitcase fully to pack and unpack my staff.Instead, the unnecessary huge TV monitor occupied in the whole room.

Real glasses, or even plastic ones, would be much better than paper cups provided in a room.

    7SeePosted on: 3-13-2025

The service staffs are efficient and helpful.

There's a smell in the toilet once you step in the first moment but fade away subsequently.

    10NicholasPosted on: 3-11-2025

Loved the Onsen and proximity to the train station

Never found where to get an obi ?

    5ChunPosted on: 3-3-2025

The breakfast is quite good with variety of food.

THe room is too small and insufficient to open my luggage. The location is too far from the train station.

    8SteffenPosted on: 2-10-2025

Friendly staff, automated luggage storage and check-in, good public bath, very reasonably priced.

Bed mattress was very soft and not even.

    5GabrielPosted on: 2-9-2025

Very clean, lovely space, with a great location to walk to the station and other stores.

The room reached a temperature of 32 degrees during the night which was very uncomfortable and made sleep quite difficult, may not return due to this issue.

APA hotels don't miss. Their proposition is simple and they do it well, even elevating it a bit. Property and facilities are kept clean and tidy. The room was immaculate, with lots of amenities. Two pillows, one regular and one ergonomic, was a really nice offer. Yukata provided in the room as well to visit the restaurant and large bath. The large bath was very spacious and well kept. The restaurant was a very good surprise, as I rarely dine in hotel restaurants, but the service was impeccable and the food delicious, with great recommendations from staff and selection of local Sendai cuisine. Very easy check in and check out procedures. Electronic check in has an English option and is intuitive, but the staff on site spoke English as well and guided me through the procedure, which was very nice and seamless.Great location, only 15 min walk from Sendai station for trains and buses, konbini next door 24h, lots of shops, cafes and restaurants in the area.

Honestly, I didn't really see any negatives. The coin dryers maybe need a filter clean/change as there was loads of lint on my clothes every time I used it.Bed linen is perhaps a bit heavy and not very breathable. But overall a very good experience, no frills and no worries.
