Very good breakfast and very close to the station

Nice hotel close to main train station. Plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance.

This is a nice business class hotel with clean, adequately spacious rooms, nice ammenities, and a very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good, but not lavish. The location next to the Hikone Train Station was very convenient as we had an early Shinkansen train connection to catch in nearby Maibara. We enjoyed our overnigh stay at this hotel and would recommend it.

The room was small. The bed was small, placed against a wall. It was uncomfortable for two people. Dont know if all rooms are same. I should have checked the size of room & bed when I booked. My one arm was sore next morning and did not get good sleep.

Breakfast was quite good! It exceeded my expectations. There was a lot of variety.

The rooms could be bigger, but it was managable!

Room feels like a small prison cell with the windows locked shut.

Bed and pillows are uncomfortable, can’t open the windows, the room gets too hot and stale.

Fantastic location right by the station. Really friendly staff at the front desk. Hikone is a really good home base for exploring the rest of Kansai plus there is a beautiful castle in walking distance.

The bathroom was pretty cramped but I get that Japanese hotel rooms often feel small for Americans and how much time are you really spending there anyway.

Great location next to train/bus station with good connections to Kyoto and Osaka. Lots of restaurants around,18 mins walk to Hikone Castle. Smaller air conditioned room but good enough for a couple,cleaned every day also we have had fresh towels daily. Complementary breakfast with various dishes. Laundry room (easy to use and cheap) also vending machines on the same floor. Staff were very friendly,helpful and polite. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for not expensive and very good hotel.

I frequently stay here when I visit. Near major train station. Excellent breakfast. Able to borrow a bicycle. Staff always kind and helpful.

Standard hotel, not inspirational.

It was in a very convenient location, right next to the station and a lot of restaurants. The castle was in walking distance. Our stay included a breakfast as well, which was really tasty.

There was nothing in particular what we didn't like. Everything was good :)

Had all the essentials! I'd rate it higher than the Toyoko inns that I've been to. Hikone really is a wonderful place to stay at and this hotel is right next to the JR station. In addition, the Chinese food place next to the hotel had the best food.

Could be slightly cheaper considering that it's a business hotel in a remote region.

Free on site parking, convenient to the train station.

Very small room, overheated interiors, the elevator annoyingly stops at the second floor every time going up or down.

To me, it's perfect. I am not wealthy so pianos in the halls make me feel like I don't belong. But this hotel has literally everything you need, it's perfectly equipped and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was also delightful

The staff was very helpful. We enjoyed for a brief free bike rental provided by the hotel on the day we checked out. We managed to ride to the Hikone Castle before we checked out at 10am. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared.

I stayed with my mum and we both loved the breakfast every morning. Especially, I loved healthy miso soup and plenty of vegetable dishes which normal hotels don't provide that variety.

The room was clean, but there was no storing area or sitting space at all for 2 people.

The room was clean and the bed was decent. The breakfast the next morning was a nice surprise.

The parking lot was full so I had to park across the street and walk over. I felt like I was in a dorm room with all of the noise from the hallway and the entire bathroom molded from a single piece of tan plastic.

Excellent value for money!Sever clean room, comfortable bed, helpful staff, good service, only 1 minute from the station.
