Blue Marlin Beach Hotel

Restaurant fair was excellent, fish was the daily catch of the day and well prepared. I've never had such good breakfasts that were "included." Fresh no-sugar juices, and the Turkish poached eggs were filling and delish. Beach was wide and flat at med to low tide, uncrowded and went on forever. Water was a very comfortable temp as was the pool. Couldn't ask for a more attentive staff.

It took a long time running to get hot water for shower but cool was tolerable.

- No outside food or drinks allowed (so make sure you are ok with using their restaurant or restaurants nearby - the restaurant next door is really good)- Restaurant service was average (not always attentive)

The location, staff, views were great. The rooms are so large we loved it.

1. WiFi connection in the room was extremely weak.2 The bathroom tiles are so slippery when wet so bathroom mats are needed to prevent bathroom falls and other injuries.

The location is outstanding - all the hotel rooms face the Indian Ocean and the hotel itself next to miles of pristine white sand beach. The staff are very friendly indeed and are keen to help in any way.

The Wifi is not good - it's weak and unpredictable.

wifi requires upgrading. Breakfast a bit boring. The place afford to be a bit creative to provide different choices on different days, especially for those people staying more than couple of days. Restaurant service is slow and kitchen needs more staff to respond to demand.

We loved our spacious room at Blue Marlin, with its amazing view of the ocean! The hotel is right next to the beach and we had breakfast overlooking the sea every day. The staff were very kind and helpful. They organized a snorkeling trip for us to Wasini Island and Kisite Marine Park, which was incredible. We also visited the lovely Colobus Conservation Centre in Diani Beach, which is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The Blue Marlin is a small, family-friendly hotel, and we recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay.

The hotel is a bit run-down, with some parts of the exterior needing a paint-job, but the room was lovely.

Very bad value for money. There is no WiFi in the room, The rooms are out od date and needs renovation. The aircon didnt work first night, but was repaired NeXT morning.

Some what of a pre-authorisation step on your credit card? This is not used to pay the bill at the restaurant, as reception says. So, the advice is that you do 5 USD.

It is right on the Beach. Staff is great. Good restaurant. OK Gym.

Wifi was super unstable. Small pool. No TV in the room. Not a lot to do besides the beach.

The entrance from the gate to the parking needs cabro. The parking area needs attention. The outer walls might need a coat of paint.

It feels like owners have lost interest in maintenance so it unfortunately is starting to feel run down and not kept after. It is till a very nice place but in comparison with the price tag it feels out dated and not as well kept as other hotels in similar price range

You can’t beat this location and having the restaurant right on the seafront. It’s magnificent. Great food & service.Super comfortable bed. Modern bathroom.

The staff at the restaurant, especially Michael, who tried to make me comfortable rhought the kitchen department or is it the chef didn't allow to make simply snack since I had arrived slightly after breakfast and apparently he wasn't going to make any food until 1pm having arrived at 11am. That was very strange.

The kitchen services. I was even denied the 2nd breakfast. Too hostile for a beach hotel. It was the worst ever hotel I have ever stayed. It's not value for money. I am so disappointed and I wouldn't recommend it.

Sparkling clean well-appointed room with comfy bed and huge bathroom. Definitely, value for money. Management was very responsive to my request for a lower floor room. Wifi speed was ok. Would recommend.

Cleanliness, room view, beach, service. Pictures don't lie. This is a small boutique hotel. Don't expect any animation or loud music. Staff is very discreet. Exactly what we have been expecting. Peacefulness and delicious food.Thank you Blue Marlin team. Will be back.

Stayed at Blue Marlin during my business trip. I was really surprised.. Woww. The place is amazing.. it is more then I expected. Beautiful rooms, amazing food... the best beach.. amazing staff. If you are in Diani. Visit the place .it is a must

This spot is a small paradise.. A shick hotel. Amazing big rooms. Amazing spa center.. good equipped gym.. Food was to die for... My stay was 10 out of 10
