Good location, can’t beat beachfront. Staff was very nice and responsive. Clean, free water fill-up, and breakfast was ok. WiFi was a bit spotty.

Basic budget stay. The beds were very uncomfortable. The shower water was salty and hot water didn’t work most of the time. Restaurant food wasn’t very good. Keep in mind, no AC just ceiling fan and windows don’t close but have screens.

The beach

It’s open to the public so there are a steady stream of people coming in and out. The beach front becomes a very busy bar, volleyball, gym, concert and many other things over the course of the day. It’s run down, unkempt. The breakfast is very basic.

The people were great. The gym, pool, and activities were great. My girlfriend met a lot of people and loved it. It was right on the beach. The location was fine, but I wish it were closer to a grocery store or the main town.

The queen bed was hard and squeaky. I was overcharged for a meal for 900Ksh and denied compensation, but that's okay. I didn't feel like arguing about it. I requested an early breakfast, and it was 10 minutes late. The shower was not good.

The place is just perfect in terms of quality/price. The personal is very friendly and kind and the food is amazing (e.g. their pilau or chicken curry).You can do different activities like volleyball or different workouts. The place has a very cool outdoor gym next to the beach with an experienced fitness coach.

Very friendly and helpful staffs, clearly communicating. Arranged early breakfast for me as i had an early flight. Location was quite, close to a beautiful beach, although bit far from the city center. Breakfast was good.

Pools are tiny. Rooms are too small and too basic against the price. Beach not visible from room or lobby, need some walking. Getting tultuk could be challenging early morning or late night, better to have a fixed driver.

The hotel had a great breakfast and plenty of fun activities, we played beach volleyball but there was also beach soccer/football. It’s right on the beach, and the restaurant is especially beautiful—you can enjoy your meal while relaxing by the ocean. The staff were wonderful and treated us so well, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The mattress is on the firmer side, which may feel uncomfortable for guests who prefer a softer bed.

Great beach location. Had a unique outdoor gym.

The room is okay, has a fan and AC. The breakfast was yummy and the spread was good. The hotel is actually beach front. The staff were friendly.

The hotel has been neglected, especially the area from the gate. The WiFi was horrible most of the time. There are no amenities like a fridge, tv, in the room

Because of the rooms and the property theme with everything wood in it… the rooms smelt a bit damp and the amount of touters that stays in the beachfront is quite annoying…. It does ruin your stay

Chilled place with fun activities everyday. Super friendly staff. Clean and comfy rooms. Good breakfast. Location was super, away from the crowds. Would go back any day!

I only discovered the spa the day I left. Better marketing?

The bathroom and shower were grossly misrepresented. The photo on Booking.com is nowhere close to reality! The bathroom has no demarcation from the shower. When you take shower, the water coes ALL THE WAY TO THE TOILET SEAT!There are no slippers to even wear! What does it take to do a 3 inch high tile barrier to stop water from flooding the bathroom???

We loved the staff. Janet, the receptionist, was amazing. She was very polite and sorted out our questions finding information for us, she was very knowledgeable and even solved an issue we had with the spa when they overcharged us. The room was cleaned on request, which we did daily, and it was to a very good standard. You get a jug of water in your room which you can fill up as much as you want from a machine that has sparkling, lukewarm still and cold still water. This was very handy as there are no shops nearby. Bathroom towels were huge so we loved that, not so much how tough they were as you could exfoliate as you dried. The grounds were nice and well looked after. Our room had a private bathroom with a bath tub and a shower. There is a restaurant on site. Again, staff were amazing. The pools were small but nicely kept although they do need daily cleaning. The massage service at the spa was very good but no relaxing as you can hear the monkeys running on the roof and the attendants talk to each other from cubicle to cubicle. If you ignore that, then it was good. Trnsport outside the hotel is easy to find, lots of tuk tuks.

This is more a hostal than a hotel, they advertise toiletries and all we had was 3 small bars of soap, the shower had one temperature setting, there was no curtain, the metal attachements, like the shower head, taps, etc were all corroded and the whole place needed a make over and refurbishment. This looks nothing like the pics on booking. They advertise room service yet there is no phone in the room, no TV, no bedside table lamps. The restaurant had no ice so they served us warm beer! They don't have pork in their menu. Breakfast was the same thing everyday so we decided not to bother with it after a couple of times. Lots of flies in the restaurant, they can have some fly deterrents, it was awful. There wasn't a safe in the room either.The location is poor, it is literally in the middle of nowhere, there was what looked like a small shop front and a little restaurant that was extremely basic, we didnt go as it didn't look very clean. We took tuk tuks to local restaurants, they were all about 10-15 mins ride away. There are very few sunbeds and they are in the restaurant area. Their gym is not really a gym but something VERY basic where sandbags and ropes are used. This place is great if you are on a budget and don't mind something basic. It was not for us, not what we expected. The staff made the place better but this hotel does not offer what it advertises.

The room is comfortable, hot shower was good and easy access to the beach. Also, dive centre on location so very convenient for someone like me that wants to go diving. Restaurant food is good and breakfast buffet was satisfactory. The staff were helpful and i appreciate they provide free refills of drinking water with choice of cold, hot and sparkling water.

The toilet drainage needs to be better. Taking shower will create mini puddle. And bedside lights would have been nice since only have overhead lights.

The stay was very nice. The beach is beautiful and the sand is lovely. You don't need shoes to swim. The trees make nice shadows, so it's not hot. The food is nice but overpriced vs all the local restaurants around. Just across the street there is a grocery shop and some local restaurants. There are always boda boda and tuk tuk waiting to pick you up from the gate, no matter the time. Very safe. The kitesurfing school which is on site is good. There is also diving centre but I didn't use it. Breakfasts are included and are nice. There are also vegetarian options. It included: egg omelet, pancakes, some hot things like tomatos or sausages, some fruit and different types of bread. Coffee is incluced with breakfast. Water is provided for free at the reception, easy to refill your bottle. The gym is well equipped and the gym trainer is very good.Almast everyday in the afternoon you can also play volleyball. Thetr is also tennis court on site. I recommend this place to stay. ?

The internet was often not working. There are multiple wifi names and passwords, and you need to keep switching to find one that is working, but it's not guaranteed you succeed. The reception is also not good in some areas. Overall, it was difficult to work remotely, using both the wifi and the mobile data. Luckily, just next door is a restaurant called Le Cafe, where you can order food and work remotely in peace. The loundry services were terrible. I waited 4 days and my clothes came back stinky. Luckily, it seems they didn't at least lose anything....

A hotell who say yes to prostitution

Prostitution!Big No to stay here. I know it could be prostitution at place like this but this is the most tragic hotell i ever seen. 2 of 3 couplers were sexbyers, some whith one girl, some whith 2. Some were kids. We changed hotell after a diskusion whith the manager but he dosent seen a problem. We have sent an mail to Booking.com but they havent answer. We are still waiting for money back.

The staff especially the receptionist were exceptionally nice and helpful.It can get crowded which was not great especially as a solo traveller,the beach is not as secluded as advertised seems like a public beachThere is people everywhere it was not as calming as I expected
