Miyako Hotel Gifu Nagaragawa

- The fromt desk staff night shift is very friendly and considerate. Hw helped with the booking and faciliated our stay- The room is spacious for family with good view- Breakfast was nice and variety of food offered

Fitness Center, Spa and Swimming pool are great place to relax after the work

This hotel is excellent with an indoor pool, gym , sauna and bath. The room is clean and the staff are very friendly. The view is amazing!!

The buffet is pricy and a lot of plates are empty and not filled by the staff.

This hotel is truly wonderful—there is nothing to complain about. It is clean, the staff are kind and helpful, and the food is delicious. I believe the reason this hotel is run so well is because of the amazing workers.Even the housekeeping staff are the best compared to any hotel I have stayed in around the world. They are attentive, thoughtful, and kind. Every time I come here, I can truly relax and feel at ease.

The room and bathroom were very spacious, and a well presented hotel. We used the hotel bikes (free to use) and took them out for two of the days which gave us a new experience riding through the streets. The staff were very helpful.

The outdoor pool area didn't have much of an atmosphere - very basic and didn't offer views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurants within the hotel were very pricey and didn't feel the dinner was worth the price. But I suppose that could be expected when staying at a more luxury hotel. Walking to attractions was quite far, so having the free bicycles was a good option for us.

The hotel room are nice . Clean and big . But if you are going to book this please read the important notice because if

ambience

onsen is very small than i expected . and also it much betterif theres a hot spring outside . and the dinner is not hot.

Very friendly staff and great accommodations.

Restaurant options. While there were 2 nice restaurants available - they filled quickly so only other option was the buffet. Buffet was OK, not great and not what we were looking for. Would have been helpful to have been informed we should make reservations versus waiting for dinner time to try to get a table.

Very spacious and comfortable. If you have a car you can park in the parking space nearby and you can walk right to the hotel basement. The hotel also have a fitness room but too bad we only stayed for one night so we did not have time to visit the fitness room.

Some of the staffs could not speak English but good thing is that there's an international staff who can speak English but he does not know a lot about the town when I asked for some nice restaurant nearby so he has to ask Japanese staffs. It's took some times to communicate. Anyway, it turned our okay.

The breakfast tasted good, Japanese local dishes and Western dishes available but not many options.

I absolutely loved the spa and the gym it was great. Such a nice hotel stay. The staff was super friendly.

Tattoos are not welcome

Gifu is a great place to visit and this hotel is close to Gifu Park and Gifu Castle. If you are looking for an authentic experience in Japan, this is an excellent area to visit. The hotel is luxurious - the rooms are large and have great facilities.

Beautiful environment. Very lovely decor.

I was overcharged. I was charged for a night that I did not stay. Was not addressed or given a receipt of cost of stay when I asked! I was stunned by this. Very bad business practice.

Wide spread breakfast.

The rooms are rather old. Not 5* standard.

Well presented hotel with rooms that are on the larger size particularly in Japan. Great amenities pool sauna gym.Breakfast was great valueWould recommend

The hotel is very well presented with exceptional facilitiesThe room was larger than any that we stayed in during our Japan holiday.Dining in the Teppanyaki was pricey but food and service was exceptional. Pool and spa facilities were also another great feature.Breakfast was a mix of western and local and was great value at $18

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Room was clean and well equipped. Parking was easy so that was a plus.

Meals offered appeared to be pricey.

Clean. Overall staff friendly.

Location - did not see any restaurants nearby except dine-in at the hotel. Check-in reception staff was sulky at time of checking in. Gave impression we were not welcomed.
