Pros +
- We had everything we needed in a great location. The staff was great and very helpful. We enjoyed the meals and the onsen.
- I am a credit card bicycle tourist. I ride my bicycle across countries all over the world carrying bare essentials and staying in hotels and dining in restaurants. I like Hotel Route Inn in Japan because they provide all the necessary services/facilites. A place to park a bicycle, clean efficient rooms, and a great breakfast to get you going for a 100k bike ride. No other chain offers as much as Hotel Route Inn at a reasonable cost. Over the last 5 years in Japan I have stayed at all the hotels and I enjoy Route Inn the most .
- Each one of us got a single room at a reasonable price. Breakfast included. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Helpful staff. The little onsen is a plus.
Cons -
- Need a 8-10min walk to train station and the rooms are slightly old but these are not big issues.
- Small rooms Dirty walls with stains Uncomfortable beds Was not worth $160 per night
- The bed was against the wall on one side, which is necessary in a small room but uncomfortable when two people use the bed.

The room was big enough for one Person and one night. AC worked well. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Breakfast mixed japanese and Western style.
Plenty of staff available for check in. Breakfast was ample and quite good and the woman refilling dishes is very friendly and hardworking.
The bed was against the wall on one side, which is necessary in a small room but uncomfortable when two people use the bed.
Hotel was good for the price, and centrally located in the middle of town, about 12 mins walk from the train. The room was standard, had a desk which was good.
My only real annoyance was that the hotel has some smoking rooms, so I couldn't really open the window without smoke wafting in from neighbouring rooms. The English level of staff was also low but that's expected outside of larger cities.
The hotel is clean and in a great location. Located in Downtown of Ena and you can walk to many restaurants. It’s more like a downtown area and kind death at night, but the location is convenient.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was like I was sleeping on a rock. A Fulton or a decent mattress would be better. Breakfast started super early and finished super early, even for a weekend, so we never had the change to try it.
