    Pros +

    • The rooms were clean and spacious. The food at the restaurant was amazing and the staff was extremely kind and helpful.
    • The staff‘s service is very good, and the accommodation is very clean.
    • Food at the restaurant was decent

    Cons -

    • The surrounding environment of the accommodation is a little worse.
    • Somewhat difficult to get to town (it's a 20 minute drive from Arusha center and taxis don't like to come out), communicating with staff while not directly at the hotel was challenging (WhatsApp #s unresponsive), rooms got very cold (we asked for a space heater), hot water was sporadic, we had 2 people staying but only received one towel at the beginning
    • Internet was quite a challenge if you wholly dependend on that to do your work. But the host was able to give me mifi to use during my stay there. I wish the menu had more variety especially on proteins, for someone like me who likes beef that was not available on the menu for the time i was there. Its also quite a distance from the main city, so if you would like to shop or go into town you would have to do like a 15 minute by taxi or use public means which would take longer.

The staff were so good and they were always available to support. We equally loved the facial that we did and how fast the team was in organizing activities for usOoh and Mpemba the driver is a real guide, we loved him.

This is a very special place. A small scale lodge where you get your own little house. They are large, comfortable and clean. Most people generally stay here only one or two nights as a stop over during the Safari. We stayed a whole week. They really give you the feeling you are welcome, almost at home. Reception and bar are open 24/7. Basically, you can get everything you want there. The main attraction for us was the food. The kitchen here is better than any restaurant that I know of in Arusha. The one thing I can still not believe is the price. It is not even half the price of any similar lodge or hotel in the region. Thank you Yann, Joshepha and the entire team for unforgettable stay ❣️

I loved the friendliness of the staff who went above and beyond to ensure that i was comfortable. I loved the cleanliness of the space and the quiteness on most days. Very delicious food, loved the rice and the beans in coconut milk. Really enjoyed it.

We booked Dam Stan Hotel as a couple staying for a full week given preparations for moving to our own house in Arusha (flying back and forth in-between the move). And we could NOT have been happier with this choice. The stay was absolutely wonderful, with owner Yann welcoming guests and the hotel's staff going the extra limit to make us feel at home anytime (huge asante sana for Joy and Jozefa here). We will not be needing a hotel in the future anymore, but we will most definitely be coming back just to enjoy the food, atmosphere, a massage and pedicure, and a chat with our wonderful friends there. Can't wait to see you all back soon!

Absolutely nothing. We highly recommend this place!

Unique and peaceful place, lovely helpful staff, good food. Relatively close to the airport

A bit far from the city and on a dirt road, so you need a taxi to get there.A fan in the room would have been helpful but we managed it as it was cooler during the night.

Wonderful stay near Arusha! The perfect base for safaris and other activties in the surrounding area. Comfortable room and the hotel staff was warm and accomodating. Lots of options, including vegetarian food, in the onsite restaurant.

An excellent stay, only the shower/bathroom some might find to be basic. Outdoor areas at the hotel had a lot of building/construction materials lying around, but this did not affect our stay.

A lovely surprise. Location is a bit odd. Great size room. Food was exceptional from fresh juice to home made ketchup. Staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend.

They are undergoing a lot of renovations but don't be put off as it made no impact on our stay. The Google maps to the hotel sent us the wrong way but they said they were working on it.

The staff is amazing! They are very kind and helpful. Every time we needed something or had something that needed to be solved. They tried their hardest to fix it right away. The hotel is a great project. Amazing food!

Some rooms need work, some parts of the hotel are still in construction.

The sweetest staff I have ever met!I came with totally dusty suitcases and they instantly started cleaning them for me!The second day I stayed in resting because I had come there from a volcano climb and was tired and they had some minor renovation going on and they decided to stop it for that day, so I could rest!

    5JacksonPosted on: 1-9-2025

The location is a bit far from the city centre.

I had to leave early and missed breakfast as apparently this is made on order.

Staff was passionate and friendly. They took care nicely for everything.Manager Mr.Yann was a great leader.

The location was not far from the town but getting a cab to town was a big challenge.U cannot track on BOLT app.We have to request staff to communicate to their contacts.
