The kids had a place to play

You had to pay extra for kids to play inside even though raining outside and couldn¿t do any of the previously paid for activities. Mold in bathroom. Shower broken. Bathroom ¿door¿ did not close. Refused to cancel one night which we weren¿t staying

The Fun Retreat Resort in Arusha is an excellent place to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which really makes you feel at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the food is absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Arusha.

This is an interesting hotel It has a kid's park, a quiet location, and a spa. Very unusual for Africa or anywhere

Beds a little hard. You have to turn on the hot water heater a while before your shower

The bed was very comfortable.The massage was great. The meals were great minus breakfast.

Better breakfast options. They were quite limiting especially on proteins.

We stayed in one of the round huts, and our experience was very poor. The washrooms for these rooms are poorly ventilated, with no windows and undersized extractor fans that emit an uncomfortable buzzing noise, which disrupts the quiet ambiance of the room. The first room we were assigned had a damp odor originating from the washrooms, and due to inadequate ventilation, the smell spread throughout the room. As a result, we had to request a room change.Additionally, the toilets across the property seem prone to clogging with average use of toilet paper. Guests are advised to dispose of used toilet paper in a dustbin rather than flushing, which is both inconvenient and unhygienic.Another concern was the conduct of the management. We observed an Asian manager or owner publicly reprimanding employees in a manner that appeared disrespectful and, at times, borderline racist. This behavior created an uncomfortable atmosphere for both staff and guests.Lastly, the hotel has a single payment point for card transactions. This means that regardless of where you are—whether at a restaurant or another service point—you must walk to the central cashier to complete card payments, which is highly inconvenient. And the food wasn't the best. it didn't have variety and the buffet portions kept running out.

Nothing! We checked out the next morning because it was so horrific

Worst stay ever! Room is worth $30 not the insane prices they charge. Food is disgusting and there is no area for relaxing even though they advertise with spa. Never been treated so bad by management.

Bit of confusion on room allotment at start but it was sorted by Manager.

We liked the outside area and pool. Employmees friendly

The toilet clogged up and it smelled terrible. It took about an hour of my time from beginning to end. We should have been moved.The WiFi only worked part of the time…it didn’t after 6 pm???The beds were like as hard as a rock! The cost was WAY too high for what it was!!!

The breakfast was good, in line with the hotel pricing.

The rooms had a smell which was not appealing. The hotel needs to do something in order to clear and clean the air circulating in the rooms.

We couldn’t stay in booked tent rooms because of construction work on site.First nights we were very alone on hotel making everything looking very closed down.Kitchen was very slow!Bathroom had weird smell.Treatments in spa were not very high standard, but nice staff and beautiful scenery!

the property was a bit run down specially the bathrooms. Most of the offers that were advertised where not working. The sports bar was empty and the tvs were off

Very poor experience of a Arusha Hotel

The rooms were poor, 2 small windows to high to see out of, it was like a prison cell. Bathroom was tired, sanitation was disgusting ?The Restaurant and Bar were decorated to a very bizarre style( cheap and nasty). Couldn’t fault the staff, very pleasant.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable.

The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The restaurant was fantastic and serves local, indian and chinese meal.
