Outpost Lodge

The food was really good. The staff friendly and helpful.

Never had housecleaning - 3 night stay…..they were surprised at check out so probably not the norm.

The location was good- we were able to walk to town centre. It was in a safe area. it was a nice quiet enviroment and the pool was clean and refreshing. Breakfast was very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I liked everything about the Outpost Lodge

I always stay here when traveling through Arusha. The staff is excellent, they remember you when you are a repeat customer. The value is excellent, not fancy, a quiet oasis in a busy city. Drivers are available for errands in the city and pick up from the airport. Would not stay anywhere else.

The Outpost meets and exceeds my expectations. There are more western style hotels nearby, but they do not offer more than the Outpost. There is nothing I don't like.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and inexpensive.

The wifi was spotty, worked best at reception.

They gave us a handicap room so the sink was at knee level. Shower didn’t work properly.

Gorgeous garden, good food and great staff!

It was a secure compound and felt safe with no problem with intruders. The food was good and the fresh hand cut hot chips were excellent.

There was a mix up between the hotel and taxi they arranged to pick me up at the airport which meant I was left waiting for a while. My original room was a little drab but the other rooms were brighter. Luck of the draw.

it’s good but rooms are worn off and in need of update, mainly of its equipment (beds, windows, mosquito nets (they don’t work), bathrooms furniture, accessories etc) without loosing its character.

Vi really enjoyed hanging around by the pool and taking a swim every day. I would recommend the place especially to families with kids. Great personall and good food. Close to the city centre.

The facility is situated just over a wall by a trafficated road with some noice and air pollution.

Lovely property with lots of natural, lush vegetation. Nice pool with plenty of shade. Convenient restaurant with excellent coffee/espresso drinks and pretty good food. Friendly staff. Excellent bargain, given the price! Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town!

Wifi only available in common areas.

Fairly quiet room. Good security. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Meals were good, as was the selection.

Wifi was a bit sketchy as you had to move to “hot locations” to connect. Would have been convenient to text family from our room.

The atmosphere was great, also garden was nice and the bar offer was reasonable. Kids did enjoyed the pool.

Water in rooms was in home filled bottles. My friend from our group complained about the room they had, cleanes etc.

Staff were very friendly , professional and always happy to give advice. Breakfast was excellent, and excellent value for evening meals and drinks.Also, good value for accommodation. Thank you to the Team!

Safe location, good security, comfortable bed with mosquito net, friendly staff, nice garden.

The rooms could do with re-painting, the swimming pool was dirty with leaves and bugs floating in it. Overall this was one of the cheaper options in Arusha so the standard was expected

Food was good and staff were friendly.

The shower was a big problem. the hot water was TOO HOT and couldn't get the shower mixerr to work

Nice bar area and friendly bar staff.

No evidence of anyone taking pride in trying to improve what felt like a tired, basic lodge. Policy of no wifi in bedrooms is unhelpful.

Well located. Rooms really clean and comfortable.comfortable lounge areas and a bar. But it was the staff who made it such a special stay. They were all so kind and friendly and went out of their way to offer any assistance. Even organised some day trips with an excellent guide. Nothing was too much trouble.

The food is great and the staff at the bar and restaurant is very nice.

Unfortunately the neighbor dog was barking all night long. I must admit that I'm not an easy sleeper, so it bothered me a great deal. I was in 2 different rooms, one was modern, the second was far over the hill.

Comfortable beds. Hot showers.

Bar was closed because we arrived late.
