Ryan's Bay Hotel

I loved how quiet and safe the hotel felt—surrounded by beautiful nature, it was the perfect place to unwind. The breakfast room service was a highlight: delicious, fresh, and delivered right on time. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. My family especially enjoyed the clean, relaxing pool. Overall, a peaceful and memorable getaway.

While the stay was mostly enjoyable, the bathrooms were a letdown. They felt outdated, and the water pressure was frustratingly low—I had to take cold showers twice. A renovation is definitely needed to match the quality of the rest of the hotel.

Beds

This was my second time staying at Ryan's Bay for a business trip. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. The choices at the breakfast buffet are pretty varied and the restaurant has great options. The indian food is excellent! The staff is friendly and helped me book a taxi to the airport.

Currently there is some construction next door so it can be noisy at times.

The facility was very clean and the view was very good. However I encountered so many problems with the staff : they would not help us find parking and our food order came after an hour and a half. The hotel itself is also racist as they served and treated the whites so much better than us .

Beautiful place on Lake Victoria with a swimming pool and nice restaurant. Helpful staff and a safe place to park your car.

Excellent setting - quiet and with a lovely view but very close to the centre of the city. Staff very attentive, effective and helpful.

Great location and an amazing view

Hazardous shower control system. Needs update as it is rather easy to release extremely hot water and burn yourself in the shower. Aesthetically aged hence need a slight refurbishment. And rooms need irons. Morning breakfast need improving as the options as too bland.

Spacious rooms with marvelous views on the quiet side of the city

I enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and view of the lake. The room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant is reasonably priced. Staff were professional.

There was loud music playing until late at night during the weekend. I could still hear it a bit even with all the windows closed.
