Hotel Nagano Avenue

decent hotel in nagano, small rooms but clean and practical. they have a nice library with mangas in the reception and a friendly robot to greet you. enough amenities and in general a great location to move around

parking is three streets behind the hotel and also the little "onsen" is too small and not a nice experience with 8 other guys and barely space for yourself.. it was packed and uncomfortable with a very clinical look.

Great value for money in a great location. Very accessible, quiet and comfortable.

Staff were super friendly and the room was very clean. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby area and a storage facility for luggage. There was also a very large library of Japanese comics - we weren’t able to read them but I’m sure Japanese folks would appreciate them!

The only downside is that the room was quite small so it was tricky to stash our gear and navigate the room.

Rooms are really quite small

A good one night stop before taking the bus to Hakuba. Good small restaurants in the neighborhood.

Amenities were aplenty - from free toiletries, loungewear/pj set, free locker storage and beverages. The bath house and sauna were a treat from skiing/snowboarding. Not to mention that the hotel has a very cute AI pet robot and the collection of manga/comic books and anime collectibles.

The aircon however is centrally controlled so some night were too warm that the sleep was uncomfortable.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was clean and the bed with pillows was very comfortable! We especially appreciated that this hotel has an onsen, a library with many great books, a wending machine for free hot drinks, a washing machine, and a safe lock box area to store the luggage. Hotel is right next to the 7/11. Thank you very much!

This is a great value hotel with everything I need. Room is small, but the design is functional, it did not feel tight at all, surprisingly. ( 2 of us stay 4 nights in a Double room). Location is a little far from JR main station, but walkable and not in a busy area. Onsen is nice. 5 stars for breakfast, good quality, must try. staff are very helpful.

Nothing. I like everything.

The hotel is very well located, so close to the train station that we went by foot to the hotel. Breakfast is very good. There is a lot of Japanese options so you can try different foods. There is also a good number of options for vegetarians. There is a coffee machine free for customers.

The room is a bit small and the pillows, at least for me, a bit strange. Overall, nothing to worry about.

A big thankyou to one of your staff. We were greeted by Jamie at reception and she was friendly and very helpful. She helped us by speaking English and she made us feel very welcome. Jamie was also there when we checked out, and she was just as friendly. She even agreed to use our phone to take a short video of our family leaving the hotel. Thank you so much Jamie.

- Comfortable and pleasant bedroom with what felt like a new bathroom. Not as cramped as I was expecting.- Public bath on top floors was good though I couldn't see out the windows and it can get crowded at times - Next to a convenience store

- Further from the station (~10mins walk) and restaurants than other hotels

convenient location from nagano station and to zenkoji, good for shopping and dining

the public bath was not clean enough. the side of the pools has a layer of brown algae that could be rubbed off by finger easily. the chair in the room had stains on it

Amazing location. Clean. Public bath was amazing after a day on the slopes.
