The rate is affordable and the location is convenient

I wish they could have clean the bidet. You can still visibly see stains on it. It’s kinda gross.

The staff were accommodating and friendly. Location was excellent - shuttle bus stops in front of the hotel, 10 minute walk to restaurants. Lockers available to store gear and there’s also a nice onsen. We also enjoyed the breakfast spread!

While we love the quaint, retro vibes, it could do with some modern updates i.e. plugs near bed to charge phones, less clunky hotel keys etc

Large room. Good Breakfast with menu changing everyday. Ski Wax within the hotel. Enough parking spots.

At Onsen, there should be some protection for the snow falling from the roof, especially at the edge of onsen where people sit. The roof should be a bit longer.

Poor, disappointing

WiFi wouldn’t even work in the room- tried to log into my laptop and nothing would load. Location is not great either. Far too expensive for what it is.

Good value for money. There are indoor and outdoor onsens. The breakfast is good. They change some of the food options everyday. Many parking spaces. Shuttle buses to ski resorts stop in front of the entrance.

This year, it provided ski rental on-site. But this service was only available at weekdays. It was not mentioned when I asked and we did not make other ski rental reservation. Unluckily, we started our ski rental on Saturday and found out that it was not available on-site. We then needed to look for ski rental shops and lined up for more than an hour.

Disappointed this time staying that there was no daily shuttle into town in the evening.

Quiet little hotel with really good breakfast. Free shuttle from hotel to all the resorts and back.

It’s a bit out of town, so if the roads are icy, it can be a bit tricky to walk home after a few beers ;)

Wifi not working properly, the whole facility is old, very old and dirty. Mold in the Onzen, broken glass, overcrowded.Room cleaning only every other day, broken vending machine, broken washing machine, broken dryer, garbage left in the room, etc etc Totally overpriced.

Lovely onsen. Very nice hotel. Good storage lockers for skis, you get your own locker and key. Bus stop right outside the door. Good breakfast. Loved it! Nice spacious rooms, lots of wardrobe space. Nice to have a choice of pillows. Nice view. Staff very helpful.

Beds were a bit hard, but still ok. Bathroom a bit small. 15 minutes walk into town. TV quite small. These are minor points, we really liked this hotel, and hope to come and stay again.

Asked for additional tax payment at the end of stay.Very minimal appliances in room, very basic living quarters.

breakfast was great. Good variety and was fresh.Rooms were a good size for Japan, the beds were a good size and comfortable. They were clean. Onsen was good and well maintained. Staff were friendly and were helpful.

The ski Drying room could have been better, no room for clothes. Shuttle to pick up/drop off was only available at 2 time slots.

Ski bus stops right outside which makes it really easy to get to the slopes. Good breakfast - variety for both Asian and western options. Clean and good sized room.

Very difficult to get to if you arrive after 4pm as local buses go to night schedule and hotel only offer 2 pick ups/day. 30 minute walk uphill with our luggage in the snow was not ideal.

Staff were great, rooms were comfortable and was decent value for money
