Toyoko Inn Ueda Ekimae

Conveniently located near Ueda train station.They served a very nice breakfast.Staff spoke good English and were very helpful.

Bathroom is very clean! Usually there are dirts on areas where you can’t see right away with your eyes until you bent down a little bit. So I did just that around the bathroom, and to my surprise, it was very clean! I didn’t see a single mold! Cleaning team did a really good job! Thank you for their hardwork!The rooms we stayed in were spacious! I was able to walk around even with my luggage opened. Japanese hotels are known to have small hotel rooms with very very narrow walkways.

The mattress was a little bit stiff. I think they have the spring type mattresses.

The hotel allows check-in with a machine, but cannot pay with credit cards, debit cards. Tried using visa, Mastercard, JCB, all 6 cards could not be paid. The staff could not help. Had to pay in cash, which was inconvenient.

The hotel is conveniently located by the station which allowed us access to many restaurants and sight seeing places. The breakfast didn't have much variety but it was good.

The location is great coz when you go outside there are a lot of establishments, resto for you to pick out..The room is clean, organized and comfortable to Sleep on plus the staffs are very helpful and friendly
