Very good
The air conditioning is central controlled. Can't adjust room temp yourself. Room temp setting is too high for me.Fortunately, the window can be open a little bit.
The hotel is close to the train station, shops, a convenience store, and many restaurants. The breakfast was good with lots of choices.
There was no room, space, wardrobe, or shelves to store my luggage or clothes.
A four star appearance provided a two star experience at this hotel. The heater did not function as I had to ask for a replacement and the room was the size of a walk-in closet.
The hotel is not too bad. However, the bathroom is really tiny, and the bed was too hard.Breakfast was everage.
Clean, excellent staff
USB charge ports required in rooms
A little small fuss a family of 4 but the staff was very kind and wanting to help for any reason
Quite clean and reasonably space. Staff friendly.
Check in time can be earlier
Though small, the room was pleasant and practical, the staff of utmost politeness and the refined breakfast outstanding !
Close to the station
Communicating with staff was difficult as they spoke little English. We mostly used Google translate.
Good value… close to the station
Staff not particularly welcoming… polite but not welcoming. My impression is that they are not used to dealing with foreigners and may need some training.
We needed to stay overnight close to the ferry port, so the location was excellent.
It was a bit of a walk down the street to the car park.
It's a very nice hotel, room was OK in size and it is located 1 min away from the train station.
They are re doing all the outside of the hotel which means it's all covered by scaffolding. This means you couldn't open the window and the aircon is controlled centrally and was off. This meant that the room was like a mini sauna with only a fan/humidifier to keep you cool which wasn't enough.
The hotel was comfortable and staff had some English skills.
We had booked and paid for a Twin room through a travel agent, however, when we arrived they had allocated a semi-double room. We needed to pay 25% more on the room rate to change to a Twin room.
Staff very helpful. Great filter coffee bags. Perfect location.
Pillows.
Not far from the stationAble to walk to night Sakura festival within 20 minutesStaff are friendly
Small room, remind me of Tokyo (but this is takada town)
Good hotel in the center of Joetsu. Simple, but clean rooms. Friendly and helpful stuff. parking just few metres from he hotel relatively cheap (700yen per stay).
There was only a smoking room we could book, and you can smell it well.
Staff friendly. Great location
There were some parking issues but the staff helped me find a car park close by
