We loved our time here. Service was friendly but always efficient and professional. Everything we needed for a fabulous ski holiday was literally right at our door step. Breakfast and dinner were included and these meals were generous and catered to all tastes. The onsen experience was precious. There is nothing like the hot pool outside with snowflakes swirling down around you!
Super efficient check-in (which isn't always the case!). Rooms are a bit dated, though very functional. Buffet breakfast was good, and lovely views from the restaurants and cafes in the hotel. Nice enough onsen. Can't beat the convenience of the location!
The center of Madarao resort, so location can't be beaten. We liked the buffet breakfast and enjoyed the onsen baths for sore legs. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s very convenient, the bus stop at the door, it’s a ski-in & out hotel, there are large ski room to keep your board downstairs, they provide the plastic pot, you can take the water & ice to your room.

Right on the slope with everything you need onsite. Great onsen and big buffet breakfast, we had dinner included too which was good as could use at the buffet or other restaurant brian on site also

Close to ski fields, easy access from Shinkansen station by bus. Room was a good size for a Japanese hotel, lovely view of the mountains from the room. Large buffet for breakfast and dinner with a good selection of food. Hotel had its own onsen which was great. Large locker room for ski equipment and also a rental place on site. There was also a restaurant and cafe in the complex. Discount price lift tickets for guests.
Only issue was with staff when I tried to obtain milk for tea. Rooms are set up with items to make green tea or coffee with cream only. I had my own teabags and was happy to pay extra for the milk , but Staff advised that the only place I could buy milk was back at Iiyama which is a 30 minute bus ride away. Even their cafe wouldn’t allow it, as it was dangerous to remove from restaurant. Not very helpful, finally purchased from another cafe .
Excellent location central to the town and very close to lifts. Provision of breakfast and dinner was great as not many eating options in town. Food was excellent. Rooms were quiet, clean and had a fantastic mountain view.

onsen is so tiny and crowded. quite run down. beds r soft. very un-japanese in services e.g. not explaining what r available on requests such as humidifier. other hotels the staff will try to inform even thou not able to speak English.
