Staff is so welcoming and makes the stay very convenient.Very helpful.

Weekends the onsen is very busy and loud.Try to go earlier in the evening, but not later, it will be less crowded.

Hotel was located in the middle of a highway. Only a Lawson nearby. Local bus is far from hotel and time is not accurate. No street lights nearby.

Matsushiro is a beautiful part of Nagano. The hotel is situated not far from the historical site, and they have their own shuttle bus to Nagano station.Plus this Nercure hotel keeps the western style like large beds and enough room to be able to to open the suitcases. Yet they have a traditional onsen (hot spring) and you can use it for free of charge.

I have an impression that staff members are not that helpful compared to other Japanese hotels in the town. Hotel 's bar and lounge are only open for people with all inclusive formulas and not for others. This is a bit annoying when there are no bars or restaurants open around the hotel after dark.

The room was spacious and had a good view. There is a supermarket nearby (walking distance).There is a free shuttle bus from Nagano station to the hotel that can fit a lot of luggage (we had 2 big and 4 small). The onsens were decent.

The breakfast is not worth your money. 3,200 yen just for a buffet with limited options and mediocre food was disappointing.

If you are okay with old hotel and rooms, this place is exceptional. Wonderful breakfast, big rooms, great views of the mountain ranges, free lounge (with free flow alc. drinks) and attentive staffs.

very spacious room and beds, mountainview was amazing everyone time. the Spa and Onsen is very big and relaxing, also with sauna and outerbath onsen. staff is super friendly and all speak english. the free drinks and snack during happy and Nap hour is a extra bonus which is included for all guests

Wonderful place! Very cozy, relaxing with a super nice view of the green mountain. A bus stop is nearby and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious with a wide choice.

Declined to prepare me an invoice and claimed that was Booking's responsibility. Booking also declined it so at the end I end up with no invoice

Friendly staffs, fantastic stay, comfortable beds and big nice rooms. We stayed here with 3 adults and 2 children and our stay was very comfortable.We stayed for a night and we were given a welcome drink with snack invite in a lounge at 9 PM.The hotel building and the setup looks old, however it does not disturb us since it has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

the mattress was already worn out, sagging n flimsy. my back really hurt because too soft being an old mattress

Staff was very helpful and the stay was comfortable. The night cap was pretty cool. We didn’t use the onsens or anything but we enjoyed our stay. They had lockers so we could keep our stuff in them. All I will say is dinner and breakfast was a little pricey.
