    Cons -

    • It’s not walking distance to restaurants. But they have good shuttle to the ski lifts.
    • Too far away from the main road, impossible to walk around without a car (mainly because of the heavy snow) and staff doesn’t speak English well so it’s hard to communicate. Me and my family were stuck for 2 hours in Hakuba Station without any help and assistance from the staff to get to the hotel. They say in the messages to get in contact by phone as soon as you get into the station but it didn’t work at all. In the end, we had to take a taxi to get to the hotel and move around but it’s not that simple because there’s not so many in the village and they’re always busy.
    • The location. It's not a bad location, but you definitely have to drive to everywhere. It's an isolated spot & can't walk to any restaurants or stores.

We like the hotel location; it is situated up on the hill facing the Japan Alps and in the quiet area. Walking distance to Oide Park along the nature trail. We like the onsen which you take a the outdoor onsen with the mountain view. The buffet for dinner and breakfast is superb with variety of food and beverage.

There are 2 onsens, one is newly renovated with very nice outdoor view. Breakfast was a buffet style, offer quite a lot of choices.

The room and the furniture were a bit old.

Cozy place and food. Both buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious. In addition, I love the small and cozy place, especially the onsen.

Stayed here for 6 nights for a ski holiday and we had to change room half way through as I booked late and they were fully booked. Lovely staff they moved our stuff to the new room which meant we could go out for the day to enjoy skiing. Location isn't in the centre of town which wasn't a problem. There is a shuttle bus to the ski resorts, if you don't have a car. We did have a car which made it really easy. Onsen was lovely after a full day's of skiing. There was a ski rental shop opposite the hotel which was convent. We had breakfast and dinner included one of the waitresses called June was super friendly and very welcoming. Was a joy to see her everyday.

Very clean, staff were respectful, breakfast and dinner provided before and after skiing, shuttle service to and from the slopes, nice onsen services

Too far from the slopes or any food places or shopping, recommend hiring a car

Private onsen and stunning view. In addition the open fireplace was a treat.

The bed mattresses were not very comfortable, and would have preferred a double or queen.
