Outdated building and facilities. Please be aware that having your room number printed on the room key can make it easy for theft to occur. Additionally, there is no secure key storage in the changing room of the public bath. If you leave your room key there, there is a risk that someone could access your room while you are occupied in the bath.

Good price and functional room with everything I needed for a one night stay. Enough space for the luggage, very nice hotel staff and good breakfast.

Close to Kamisuwa station . Close to Suwa lake . Hotel room is spacious comparing to other hotels we stayed in Japan. Breakfast is decent.

Hot spring is smaller than I expected. Water temp is lukewarm at one point ( male side per my son). He and other guests needed to tell hotel staff about it .

Nice little hotel with welcoming staff, really good value and close to the station as well as the nicest part of the lake. I loved the onsen after a day walking in the snow and the breakfast was also very nice with Japanese and Western options.

I had a great time at the Route-Inn! It was kind of like my two spa days with the Onsen that can be used, calming Suwa and the great breakfast that was prepared for me. The breakfast buffet was huge and had Western as well as Japanese dishes to choose from. I can really recommend. The room was also comfortable and staying only in hostels the nights before it felt like a dream. The WiFi was also fast. I will definitivetly come back!

Excellent location, several minutes walk from Kamisuwa Station and 5 minutes walk to Lake Suwa. The onsen provides good relaxation after a day’s traveling. Very reasonable price.

The woman who helped me on Friday March 17th deserves a raise. SO friendly and helpful but i cannot remember her name ?The room was quite large and comfy and though the baths were small, I was able to relax in the hot water.

I hate turning in keys when leaving a hotel. I feel like a toddler.The bed was hard as a rock. . . .There really isn't anything else.

Excellent breakfast buffet, very helpful staff, great location, the hotel has a private onsen (natural sauna)

The hotel furniture is a little too old, not a huge deal, but could be renovated.

The personal is friendly and the location is good

The rooms are pretty aged and dirty, but most importantly the beds are awful, it felt like sleeping on bare stones

This is one of the cheaper hotels near the lake. It's nothing special, but quite satisfactory.

Insufficient parking. The breakfast was a little meager (not bad, though).

The location is a short 10min walk from Kami Suwa Station, or 3min by taxi. Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby, including a coin laundromat. The onsen inside the hotel was very good as well. They provided free parking and a free drink for each guest staying.

Breakfast was really the only disappointment. Strange mix of things even by Japanese standards. The decor was rather dated but like all Japanese hotels it was spotless.

Good location close to the station. The staff were very courteous and helpful even though little English was spoken. Great breakfast options. Despite being in need of refurbishment, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and more space than the average in Japan. The staff were polite and eager to help.

The hotel is tired and needs a total refurbishment.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The location was great close to everything I needed.

The recommended room temperature was too high for me at 28⁰C. The bed could have been more comfortable. Everything else was great.

This was a last minut detour for me, but I really wanted to see lake suwa. This place was however amazing, 10/10 would stay again.

Power sockets are placed at odd places, wish more were at desk height.
