Apa Hotel Karuizawa Ekimae Karuizawaso

Location, Breakfast

Very unhelpful staff(after the staff made a mistake with the parking discount, no help from them to solve it)

Love the location and great value! The staff is friendly. The room is very compact but super clean. Children under 6 can stay free of charge which is awesome. I took my child on a ski trip and it's only 5 minutes drive away from the visitor center of Prince Hotel Ski Resort. Will certainly come back.

Overall nothing to complain about. The only thing to note is that parking costs 1500 yen per night and is very limited. Also, the space is a bit tight for SUV.

Near station and clean room

Too small room

Great location near Karuizawa Station. Nice staff

Old style and old furnish The restaurant is old but the food is delicious.

Great location. The facilities are nice. Breakfast was kinda okay. Location is very close to the station and amazing.

It would have been nice if the room were more spacious. Also, the fact that they haven't covered the corridor that connects the lobby building and the building where the rooms exist means it's freezing cold during winter when you go to the lobby or go to breakfast room with just your room wear.

Service and breakfast

Room size and air conditioning.

So pretty and clean . Beautiful rooms and fun restraints and shopping down the road.

The air in the room was dry.

The hotel close to the train station, less than 5 mins walk from the north exit. And it is close to shopping outlet and attractions.

Only the wall is thin, but not bother me

It is in a great location close to the train station

The hotel is run down. The lobby is small. The elevator is cramped. The halls are narrow. The carpets are old and dirty. The room was worn with stains and damage on walls.

Close to the train station

There was a dirty towel on the floor of my room at check in, in general the room did not seem clean

Proximity to JR Station

Room a tad small. The raised floor to get into the bathroom requires extra care to avoid slipping.

It’s close to the JR and bus station and very convenient.

Not many restaurants nearby.

Close to amenities and station room well furnished with modern equipment

Great location Clean, big and comfortable room

Location next to train station and shopping mall

Ambiguous display on the front check in lobby Only said RESTAURANT but it’s check in lobby

Location next to the train station is greater, especially in bad weather. Walking distance to a convenience store, rare in Karuizawa for some reason? The restaurant in the hotel is very good.

Very close to the station

Slightly dusty - my 2 friends sneezed a bit when first entered the room

Staff are very kind and helpful. I ordered a non-smoking room, but in the first night, they gave me a room with strong smell of smoke. I asked for changing the room that night, a young man was very helpful and immediately helped me to change a room with no smell. Everything else was perfect.

Good location close to the train and bus station. Helpful staff

Despite it being a non-smoking room, the cigarette smell was filled into my room through the aircon which is centrally controlled. The windows were not able to be opened. Temperture was not able to be adjusted by me

Good

Room too small. Unlike other APA hotel, this hotel has no onsen facility.
