- There was parking on site, and the room was quiet even though it was very urban and intended for workers. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean and functional. The refrigerator was helpful. We booked here because we had difficulty finding other better accommodation in our budget, in Matsumoto.
- One thing that I did not appreciate was booking the room with the correct information for my children’s ages and yet, the price in Booking app that I prepaid was ¥1,000 less than what the front desk employees required me to pay. This was rather annoying. The price paid in the app needs to be the price paid.

While everything was clean and functional, the bed was as hard as concrete, and the loft bedding was worse. The staff were accustomed to their regular worker clientele, and struggled to manage tourists. Compared to other places in Japan, this was expensive for the accommodation. We recommend going above nightly budget to secure more suitable accommodation, because this was not good value given the poor quality of rest.

The staff were friendly, the bed was large and comfortable. The JR Murai station is about 800 m from the hotel, making a trip into the lovely Matsumoto very easy and cheap.
Value for money, cosy hotel with small but clean and adequate room. Great for airport transfer in Matsumoto because it’s very short distance to the airport. Service and (paid) breakfast are very good. Highly recommended!
