Protea Hotel Blantyre Ryalls

Clean and very quiet. Rooms were clean. People were nice.

The food was kind of boring. Very dry and repeative.

The staff were friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. The inner lawn facing rooms were well-equipped, and offered a relaxing environment for a good night's sleep. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to access various business areas in Blantyre.

The hotel has limited menu options for Veg., which could be improved for more variety and international choices. Also the internet connection was unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected.

Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in Malawi. The rooms were impeccably clean and exceptionally comfortable, providing a perfect environment for rest and relaxation.The buffet service was absolutely outstanding, offering a variety of dishes that were not only delicious but also felt like a true taste of home. Each meal was a delightful experience, showcasing the hotel’s commitment to quality and flavor.The staff provided excellent service throughout my stay. I would like to give special recognition to the reception and dining room staff for their professionalism, attentiveness, and warm hospitality. They truly made me feel valued as a guest.Thank you for an unforgettable experience. I will certainly be returning to Ryalls Hotel whenever I am in Blantyre. Highly recommended!

I experienced allergia in my room; maybe from cushions, window curtains, or floor rugs. I am not sure.

Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Dinner in 21 Grill was a little disappointing. I ordered the prawns which were delicious but were over cooked which made it difficult to peel the shells off. Staff ere exemplary.

See above re 21 Grill. Strange layout to get to 21 Grill, having to walk through another dining area (where people were eating lunch) together to it.

Ideal location, very good breakfast and I got an upgrade on my room which was fantastic.

Breakfast is good. Have stayed there many times therefore the choice to go back after an absence of 10 years. Pleasantly surprised.

Breakfast excellent . Hotel overall very good quality . Next visit to Blantyre we"ll book again at same hotel. We stayed there on our previous trip as well . Staff friendly and helpful Great .The best

I loved everything at protea hotel by Marriott blantyre ryalls but our spacious room tops the list.?? oh! and the breakfast for champions ?

I loved the complimentary apple juice they gave me after checking in. That touched me very much. I also loved their breakfast.

1. Food took long to be delivered after ordering.2. They must also consider airtel money as a transacting method3. I didn't like their toilet. They need to install newer morden chambers. I struggled withthat toilet and it was very frustrating

Wonderful food, service, and overall very nice.

The bathroom seems as if it needs a refresh and some of the furniture was in need of being replaced as it was worn out.

Location, was the only thing working for me

The staff behaviour, room was not clean, it was stuffy and carpet was old and dirty. For the price I paid it was not worth the services. When I asked for a extension plug to use my computer, it was not available then a staff told me that it is available with a staff and I can buy it on cash, which I had as had to work.

My room was right next to the parking lot, so I had to shut the curtains all the time, as people was passing by.Furniture is a bit old. Breakfast limited.
