El Greco is located in the heart of Heraklion's business and shopping district, within walking distance of the Archaeological and the Historical Museum, as well as public transportation, banks, ATMs and tourist shops. Heraklion Port is 1.2 mi away, while Heraklion International Airport is within 3.1 mi of the hotel. The hotel has 170 beds in 90 furnished rooms, most of them with private balconies and air conditioning. All sound-proofed rooms have wireless internet access and television. The snack bar, cafeteria, large lounge for breakfast and TV and the internet corner are always at the guests’ disposal.

- Overall experience was good for the price.
Cons -
- One staff member was unfriendly and not supportive. Breakfast was pool, but not expected better for the price - so it was okay and I had breakfast elsewhere.
