A beautiful hostel with a wonderful courtyard. Kind, helpful staff. Close to the station, and an easy walk to fascinating markets.

I liked the atmosphere and staff. Great value for money!

If I had to be picky, the bathrooms could be more modern, bigger, and updated. The garden space could also be bigger. But everything else was great!

There is a quiet, peaceful attitude about the place and its owners. A good way to stay in overly busy and not so clean Izmir, if you do not mind some hippy-like people.

Once you step out, you will find yourself in a poor and rather unclean neighborhoud, although quite colorful.

Hostel located in an old house with a beautiful garden, conveniently located very close to the train station. The private room is very open and spacious, and the owner makes a delicious Turkish breakfast for an affordable price. A good choice for budget travelers.

I stayed in the winter, and since the room had high ceilings, the heater couldn't heat up the room very well; however, there were extra blankets, so sleeping wasn't a problem at night. However, it was very cold in the shower room.

The location and staff were great. Unfortunately the bunk smelled like urine and I couldn’t stand staying past one night. I booked a hotel nearby

It was not clean. The bunks smelt horribly.

I loved the courtyard, my son was very taken by it, feeding the chickens in the middle of the city. The personell was ever so friendly and helpful.

I am not keen on shared bathroom facilities but I knew this was the deal on forehand to there is not much to complain about.

Super cute and good energy. Sustainability prioritized. Lots of cute common areas and great facilities. Staff all very welcoming and friendly.

I did not stay at the property. Once I visited and saw its state, I did not want to stay there. It just looked old and unkempt. And looking at the dirty aquarium, it was not the cleanest.

Everything. It was cramped.

The staff and the facilities where amazing! The hostel itself is so lovely and it's in a fantastic location just by the main market. The garden is lovely and such a nice place to sit.

The hostel is brilliant however after I left I noticed multiple bed bug bites all over my body. I was staying in the larger 8 bed dorm. The hostel is brilliant but I've noticed a few reviews complaining about the bed bugs there. I don't know if it's just the cherry room that's affected. I think the place really needs to sort that out and change all the mattresses in that room. Overall it's a brilliant hostel but the bed bug bites are obviously a massive downer.

The friendly atmosphere from the crew together in that lovely garden is very pleasant. Close to the train station + Metro + Buses and near to the airport makes a mixture of modern traveling and being in an traditional old quartier.The room had a desk a chair a wardrobe and many hangers and there where hooks in places that was quiet practical - together with the aircondition I slept very well and everything felt comfortable. Also the kitchen was well equipped with good pots and pans and whatever else you might needed they looked out to help you.

The shower and the toilets were a bit small and not very comfortable. Beside that everyone had to change there streetshoes and you had to choose out of a collection they really don’t fit and my toes get scratched - please have maybe just Flipflops or any other soft Pantoffel..I don’t think it is necessary to warn people not to touch the plants in the garden???

There is a friendly atmosphere with an open garden which is refreshing.

Management should really invest in the upkeep of the building as a few things are falling apart such as the windows, the window shutters. Otherwise they should have thicker curtains to reduce the morning light in the room.

The location was not too far to walk to the train and the water. The kitchen was looked after and the staff was helpful. It was cozy and had a comfortable common area that made it easy to get to know other travelers.

I was overall happy with everything. I am new to hostels so the lack of privacy was new to me but I would stay here again. Lockers for bags would have been nice but it felt safe anyway.

Very friendly staff, amazing breakfast in a nice patio-with-garden. Quite a big room in a nice old building with very high ceilings, and some nice extra like a electric water kettle. Lots of travelers, with lots of stories, which gives it a nice buzz.Good location, in a neighbourhood that felt safe, close to the Kemeralti Bazar, and very close to the Basmane train station/Izban metro.

It's an old building, so it comes with some defects, but nothing serious.

As a fancy traveler, this was my second hostelexperience. I enjoyed it a lot this time. Especially one of the workers. Mehmet was a lot of fun. We shared the same typ of humor. Sadly I only saw him one day. I had a private room which was extremly big and spacious. The kitchen was cute, although I never used it because there were tons of restaurants near the hostel..WlillI| go again? Actually I might.

I took one star off because of the room. The windows... they had a mind of their own. They moved a lot when it got windy so i had to stuff the gaps with my socks in order to sleep. The joint bathroom was a bit small for a big dude like me but there was immediate hot water

Old house in a very central location. Big rooms with high ceilings. Good comfortable beds. Breakfast available. Kind staff.

From the booking room description it was not clear that the bathroom was shared with the rest of the guests. Thought it was shared between the 2 rooms we booked.

Staff were great! Breakfast very good.

The shower was a bit outdated and the curtain wouldn’t keep the water inside.
