This boutique hotel attached Reataurant and coffee shop where the best things for me. Always open for food. Coffee shop closed on sun.

I do not like wet rooms but with effort they entire bathroom wasn¿t wet after each shower.

The ocean view from the restaurant is stunning, is exactly as is shown in the pictures. The beds were very comfty and size of the bedroom and bathroom was really nice. The location is top! 10 min walking to punda beach and downtown.

The breakfast did not fully match what was offered. Orange juice, which was included in the breakfast description, was not available on either day, and guests are not informed in advance, so you cannot decide beforehand whether the breakfast is worth paying for.Check-in was late and check-out was very early at 10:00. While luggage storage is allowed, there is no option to shower afterward. Considering how hot Curaçao is, this is very inconvenient if you plan to walk around before a flight.At check-out, there was a complete lack of communication from reception. The receptionist was aware that I was preparing to leave, as I was in a small room behind the desk organizing and closing my suitcases. She told me to “take your time,” but did not inform me that she would be leaving or that the hotel door would be locked.When I exited with my luggage, the hotel door was closed and locked, and there was no one at reception. No explanation was given and no prior notice was communicated. I was left outside with my suitcases until another staff member (possibly from the restaurant) appeared and kindly helped me carry them to the car.

We loved this place, it has a large and comfortable bed, the staff is friendly (youth from the Netherlands mostly :)) and personal touches were added. Our room was so big and beautiful, with historic elements that were kept in the design. The restaurant’s location is scenic and it serves delicious food. It was easy to walk to other parts of the town. I recommend this place !

This is no one’s fault but some people outside love to rev their engines really loudly right outside the hotel so that might be startling for some. It is possible that it is not always the case though.

I recently celebrated my 61st birthday with a 6-night stay at the BijBlauw Hotel, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place for such a special occasion.From the moment I arrived, the experience was nothing short of magical. The location is unbeatable—right on the ocean, with gorgeous views, a calming breeze, and easy walking access to all the charm of Pietermaai and downtown Willemstad.The room was beautiful, minimalist yet warm, and incredibly comfortable. But what made it truly special was the personal touch—a surprise balloon setup waiting in my room for my birthday! That gesture meant the world to me. Thank you so much to the team—you were amazing, and your attention to detail made my birthday unforgettable.Some mornings, I enjoyed the on-site restaurant, sipping ginger tea while watching the waves roll in. The staff were all inexperienced, We were stranded in the airport waiting for a pickup that never arrived.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Luke went out of his way to fix a light.

The hotel should provide written instructions to the guest about evening procedures. A guest was banging on the steel gate at 1.15am because they did not remember to use the room key to let themselves in. Also, the security guard was not present at that time.

Location and vibe of hotel and restaurant. Hotel is so close to so many great restaurants.

Construction that is going on next door, but this is out of BijBlauw's control and is also happening all over the Pietermaai district, as an up and coming area.

Basic, small rooms. Beds are small and joined in the middle so very uncomfortable. Pool floor and walls are rough. Restaurant Kitchen not able to adapt to dietary restrictions.

It’s beautiful, relaxing, great taste. Friendly staff as well. They were also kind enough to change my dates as I had a mishap with my flight. 100% recommended.

The staff members Britt was very helpful. She set us up with excursions and it was very very helpful.

no one likes construction, but in the future after its complete it will be a nice hotel area with the art hotel next door

The location is absolutely perfect! Lots of restaurants in the vicinity and just a few minutes from historic downtown. The inn is charming as is the restaurant that overlooks the water and serves excellent food. I wish we had spent a bit more and arranged for a medium size room. We had the smallest room which was big enough for the bed but had very little space for our belongings. Streetside parking was always easy to find.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. They remembered my name throughout my stay, and were very responsive if I had a question. The location was perfect, and the restaurant has stunning views and great cuisine. Would definitely stay there again.

The views from the restaurant was really nice, otherwise the street view isn’t great. Lots of construction outside made it u pleasant. Good walking location.

Parking wasn’t great. Too much noise, have to take stairs up to room and haul your luggage. Construction next door. The rooms had bare minimum in them.

There is nothing maybe a later check out would be appreciated .. 10am is really early for a late EU flight

We love the location, the staff was pretty great. The hotel has an amazing restaurant, we've ate there a couple times (the food is trully great). We had un upgrade because the room we were suposed to be in was near a construction, so that was the highlight of our stay.

The location is absolutely stunning- All of Willemstadt is within walking distance, the waterfront is super beautiful, the restaurant amazing, and the seaside rendez-vous room we had came with the most amazing terrace.

Nice looking room

As i was traveling for work, i missed having a small desk and chair to do some work at night.

Nice room and facilities. We loved having the ocean just in front of the hotel therefore the possibility to swim at walking distance from our room. Also one of the best places to have breakfast in the area.
