Pros +
- Clean and simple with all the essentials
- As we travelled by train we appreciated the location near the train station, supermarket and car rental. The staff was very helpful.
- The property doesn’t allow you to store luggage there. Even if you’re coming back in a few days later. The only reason that I booked multiple stays is that I want to leave luggage there for a few days hike.
Cons -
- Walls are either a little thin or the guy next door snore very loudly-
- This is not the hotel’s fault but we had trouble figuring out how to WALK to the hotel since there were about 8 lines of train tracks between the exit of the train station and the hotel. We eventually asked at Information in the train station how to get there but it wasn’t intuitive. Other than that, our stay was fine. Would like to explore Wakayama more next time we are in the area.
- There is very little that I didn't like, these are just a few nitpicks:- as mentioned, the bed is firm, as is the pillow. As a side sleeper, my hips did become quite uncomfortable. However, it was mostly fine and my family members did not mind it.- breakfast can become crowded at 6:30am (primarily on weekdays); as the lobby is not too big, you may have to wait a bit for a seat, however, turnover is quick. If you wish to avoid this, I suggest having breakfast later.

Close to the train. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Breakfast was varied and good.
Located close to the train station and local restaurants. The free breakfast in the morning was a nice touch and helped get us fueled for our travels.

Room- perfect size for 3 people- quiet (this may be due to the fact that we were on level 13 and on the at the end of the corridor)- clean (except for some stray hair on the bathroom floor when we first entered)- comfortable couch and bed (the bed is firm, which can be good or bad depending on your preference)- ample power sockets in good locations for charging equipments, using the hair dryer and kettle- good view of the city and plenty of natural light- good water pressure in the shower- very secure: the room card is required for the elevator and for entry into the room- enough room cards for everyone- the room is cleaned every 4 days (works for me) but fresh towels are always left at the door- all amenities are available in the lobby for your selection (green and ume tea sachets, face wash and lotion, shaving kit, shower cap etc.)- cold and hot water dispenser, ice machine, toaster and microwave are also available in the lobbyBreakfast- free from 6:30-9am, with coffee services until 10am- caters more towards the Eastern palate, the food was delicious, healthy and filling; there is toast, pastries, sandwiches, cereal, yogurt, coffee and apple juice for those who prefer a Western breakfast- the kitchen staff worked efficiently to ensure everything is orderly and food is never out of stock for long- children friendly cutleries are available for the little onesParking- 800 yen for each day; the total number of days is paid at the start, that way a spot is always reserved for you even if the 'carpark full' sign is out. You just have to state your room number and validate your ticket each time.- while not as spacious as most modern carparks, there is sufficient space to manevour your vehicle.Location- 4 minutes walk from the East exit of Wakayama Station- equal distance to Kintetsu and MIO shopping centre, with food courts in the basement level- plenty of convinience stores and restaurants around the area

Typical Japanese business hotel. 5min walking to JR station. Self check in/out is quite convenient. Very small room but acceptable.
Breakfast is with very limited categories of foods and are not supplemented timely. Room cleaness can be better (I found hair on bed which is definitely not mine).
Location good.
1 need place ceramic cup in the room instead of disposal cup.2 air fan area very dirty, many of dust on the bar.
The ladies at the reception were very polite. Room was very clean, with pot for boiling water. Besides teabags, there are some toiletries in front of the reception that you can help yourself to.B'fast was interesting with a selection of Japanese and non Japanese. Looked simple but was ample and delicious.
Everything was good.
Convenient and good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Value for money.
Great location, warm staff.
Small room.
Clean and polite friendly staff.
Simple Japanese breakfast is expected but the quantity seems not enough to serve when full of guests.
The staff was kind.I checked out once, but when I returned before 10am, they let me use the shower in the room.
I was staying in a room next to the elevator and could hear quite a bit of noise every time the elevator moved.I think if you request a room away from the elevator, you won't have any problems.
reasonable price and not far from station
