Daiwa Roynet Hotel Wakayama

- Big room.- Amazing view from bedroom!- Located centrally with a bus right outside.

- The customer service from one of the employees on the last day was quite rude. We were treated like criminals for wanting to keep our luggage there.

I liked the location across from Wakayama castle and gardens. The view was beautiful.

I would prefer an onsen.

Breakfast was really good! We were able to eat ans enjoy a beautiful view of Wakayama castle and daily wakayama life. Foods are delicious and we got to make our own ramen and see omurice cook right in front of us. All staffs are so kind!

Great location with view to the castle during breakfast. The breakfast was great and very reasonably priced.Rooms were cozy and clean. Very convenient parking close by.

Not too many restaurants around this place

Right across the street from the castle, close to parking garage and many restaurants within walking distance, modern and clean room.

Excellent location and view. Quite a large room (for a Japanese hotel). Very good breakfast.

It was clean and comfortable, and right next to Wakayama Castle. The building in which the hotel was situated is a mixed development so there is a cafe, restaurant, convenience store, and fast food at the lobby.

Nil

Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Excellent breakfast options. Within walking distance to many restaurants. The room faces the castle which was beautifully lit up every night.

The castle view is spectacular. The breakfast buffet has many options and we enjoyed it a lot. The Chinese restaurant in the building is also good.

There was a big massage chair in the room. We did not want to use the massage feature, and without it the chair was not comfortable and took up space.

Nice view of Wakayama castle, great breakfast, always taxi available outside the lobby. Staff’s English is good enough to communicate. Very clean and organized hotel. Just across the street from wakayama castle.

Not restaurants around the hotel, within walking distance.

The hotel was excellent and clean, and hotel staff was very helpful. The car park across the road was very convenient with the hotel making the carpark parking into somewhere we could come in and out as often as we needed.

Nothing as it was all good

Nice hotel. Very clean. Good breakfast. Right across the street from the castle. We were on a cycling holiday and the hotel advised us to park our bicycles in the underground bicycle parking across from the hotel that was free.

All was good.

beautiful lobby, friendly staff, comfortable roomlocation is good to both stations

View, room, location, cleanliness, comfort

Centrally located by the park - clean and comfortable.

Location and the view of the castle.

The price of the breakfast is quite high for me, but it’s affordable.

Beautiful view overlooking castle. Colour scheme in room and bathroom very neutral. Carpet appeared clean and unworn. Good water pressure and hot water. Water in room was drinkable which I appreciated. Also appreciated the provision of coffee sachets in the lobby for making coffee in one’s room. The one woman at the front desk when I arrived at the hotel in a panic because I had left my phone on the bus from the train station was most helpful (and adds to my positive rating of the hotel)but the younger man who had initially received me at reception couldn’t have been less helpful. He had no English at all and although I can’t criticise him if I can’t speak his language i feel some English fluency should be taught for personnel on reception. I noticed other foreigners from non-English speaking countries were using English to communicate.

My suitcase didn’t arrive with me on my flight so I had nothing but what I was wearing. Would have appreciated the usual in-room robe. Had loud speaking neighbours one night and found I could hear them too well so sound insulation is lacking. An extra towel rather than just one bath and one hand towel would be helpful.

Great location. Fantastic view of castle. Comfortable room with everything we needed. Nice to be able to store luggage between checkout and transfer also.

Love the accessibility Staff were polite and helpful Room was comfortable Air conditioning worked wellView of wakayama castle was amazing

Amazing castle view especially with cherry blossoms and illumination.Price was very good.Very clean and fresh.
