Room is small

Good location close to Wakayama station. Many complimentary amenities like free washing, natural hot spring baths with sauna, complimentary evening ramen. This is a place you’d enjoy if you had a long day and want to rest afterwards. TV in the room, reasonable size. Has a shower if you just want to clean up and community bath options if you don’t mind sharing.

Community baths can get busy around dinner time, but luckily the hotel TV can help monitor to tell you if there’s a lot of people using the same amenity. This helps you plan. Maybe try going early in the morning to avoid a crowd.

Rooms are a bit small but well organised. The onsen and the breakfast buffet are just amazing!

We loved the onsen. It was a calm atmosphere with low lighting and an attractive design, obviously thoughtfully planned, and a welcomed relaxing experience after a long day of travel. The breakfast was exceptional!

All the facility was great. The room is clean. The bed is big. The size of the room is bigger than the normal hotel in Japan. And the breakfast was absolutely worth it.

This hotel was a great gem of a find. The room was quite large, and very quiet. The hotel had great amenities - There were massage chairs, an Onsen (which was amazing - sauna and 3 pools), free ice cream (during a set time), free Yakult (in the morning) and delicious Ramen (from 9pm) which were all included in the price. The location was within walking distance to the train station and the castle. Would highly recommend.

Nothing - the stay was great

I would like to review the food aspect of the hotel. First of all, the hotel offers complementary yogurt drink in the morning, popsicles in the evening, and ramen at night! I never knew such a hotel that offers stuff this much lol. The morning all you can eat buffet offer fresh and authentic Japanese gourmet. The highlight is the chirashi bowl with fresh local ingredients like small fish and okra. All side dishes are beautiful and delicious. Just by the food point of view, this hotel is already worth the money. On top of that, the onsen is quite nice with hot bath, cold bath, and a hot bath with a cold head/neck rest! Highly recommended to stay here if you are visiting Wakayama City.

The bed was very big. The free ramen at night was nice. They kept my luggage after check-out.

I couldn't use the stairs. You have to use the elevators.

Great value. Its only a short walk from Wakayama station. Room was Tokyo small but this is expected from the picture and area (ok for solo travellers, the layout was practical too) However a wondeful buffet breakfast was included and free acess to a rather nice public bath that came with free flavoured popsicles, probiotics drinks and use of a massage chair. Enjoyed my time.

Loved the onsen and breakfast. Good location. Nice touches of ice cream and ramen supper very much appreciated!

The pillow was too small for my liking so it would have been nice to have extra pillows in the room.
