Apa Hotel Wakayama

Really helpful staff. Excellent location. Very comfortable.

Location, many restaurants and shops nearby.

Room extremely small and looks quite old and dirty.

the hotel able assign a ladies floorhotel have in-house breakfast hall. chargeable if needed.they have complimentary free coffee/tea/instant apple drink

surrounding area no 7/11, so you need to buy along the way to snack in your room.limited english and even the staffs are not well versed their knowledge around their street.

Very kind and helpful staff, they even helped me when I needed to reserve a taxi and I have limited Japanese knowledge. Room was perfect for a solo traveler and I loved the amenities.

Great location for us coming off the ferry from Shikoku and it was great to find an onsen across the street! Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet

Unfortunately booked a smoking room and there was no possibility to change.

Typical APA hotel room with amenities.

Property was old and room/ corridors were musky. Chairs dragging on floor can be hear if you’re on L8 as the level above has dining hall in the morning. Very noisy and woke me up from 6am

same as with other APA hotels, this is a clean, convenient and affordable hotel

I like APA chain as it’s reliable with decent amenities.

Room smelled old and musky. I stayed on 8th floor and 9th floor was the breakfast venue. At 6am there were sounds of dragging floors that was so loud I woke up many times.

The hotel was well maintained, lobby was welcoming. The room was cleaner than other APA which I have been too. The staff was helpful in fixing our wifi. The rooms was quite spacious and had free entertainment. I was really happy that the reception allowed us to leave our bags for quite some time while we spend the rest of the day exploring the beautiful city of wakayama.

The room sound insulation was not very good especially from the corridor. We woke up and couldn't sleep as there were so many acitivies and random sounds at the corridor in the morning (people talking, pulling luggage, door closing and opening).

Accessible, cheap, and close to stations.

A bit dusty. Aircon was not working so hotel staff advised me to just open my window, but it is noisy because hotel is in front of main road.

Great location along the main road, across from a supermarket/food hall. Staff were incredibly helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable. Washing and drying easily available and standard price. I left some valuables on check out and the staff were quick to alert me via messaging, truly the best care and attention. Thank you APA hotel! :)

ridiculously friendly staff

apa hotels usualy have a nice lobby, gym, onsen but this one had nothing

It was near the bus station and close to a park and a few restaurants.

Clean Room, well equipped. Good location.

It was clean, the staff were very friendly, strong wi-fi. Everything was as expected.

The pillow was hard and uncomfortable. Sometimes I felt the cigarette smell.

Very convenient — in the heart of wakayama so the bus stop for both the wakayama jr Shinkansen and the elective station wakayamashi (has a Starbucks and library in it) and close to wakayama castle Loves the easy location. Good size clean rooms and plenty of help from staff.

That it is a business hotel and the walls are pretty thin if there is a snorer in the next room you will hear them!

Bed was extremely uncomfortable.Someone threw alcohol from the window from upstairs.Disrespectful guests on the front doors putting high volume music since early morning. We kindly asked them to lower down the music and they still kept playing it on until I knocked on the door stronger.My partner was no able to properly sleep because of this situation.
