Hotel Granvia Wakayama

Close to the station

Didn't accommodate for third person in our party. We all slept sideways in the double bed! They did not try to get another room. Bad communication-did not understand English.

The location of the hotel was superb. It was right next to the JR Station. We had plenty of luggages, hence, it was such a convenient. The Wakayama Castle and other interesting places to see were walking distance.

The extra bed was a little bit uncomfortable.

rooftop lounge did not have much of a view and was not very comfortable, went there for a look-see and decided not to stay

Locate in the same building as department store, next to JR Wakayama.

The room decoration is a bit old and there is some stain around the sink tap.

Location: next to shopping mall and train staion.Breakfast is good.Friendly and helpful staffs.

Parking is on the parking building beside the hotel, on the 7th floor.

Very comfortable and great location right next to station. There was also a branch of our car rental service in the same building which was very convenient for us.

In front of train station. Lots of shopping and dining around.

Room was a bit small

The room is big enough and very comfortable. The location is the best since it is directly connected to the station.

The hotel is quite old fashion and design. The corridor is somehow too long. You may have to walk too far from the elevator to your room.

Breakfast was great. Location was great. Staff was super helpful and friendly.

The location. It is very convenient to be close to the JR train station, Many restaurants are near by. The breakfast was excellent.

I was not able to get help from the staff when asked if I could print something in the facility. I was supprised for such business centered hotel.

Staff was very friendly and helpful and were accomodating for my extremely late check-in. The room was clean and comfortable.

Bathroom was a little on the small side, but nothing problematic.

Location is next to JR station. Small mall is next to hotel. Hotel is very comfortable and clean. Staffs are nice. Good guest lounge and roof top!

The staff and service. The food was also very delicious! The rooms are perfect, very complete and with amazing internet. Also, the location is very very good.

Stayed in another Hotel Granvia property elsewhere and it was great; this one in Wakayama did not disappoint as well. Room was clean and quite spacious for Japanese standards, staff was friendly.Located right beside the JR Wakayama station and extremely convenient.

An extra pillow would be nice as the one provided was a little flat, but no big issue otherwise

- great location just outside Wakayama station- very friendly and helpful staff- great facilities and room size- lots of food and shopping choices within walking distance- the hotel provides e-bikes that you can rent for 800 JPY a day- easy transport to KIX and Osaka

It was spacious and as we booked at the last minute was a great deal. Parking was easy and there were so many staff helping out.

Very convent location to JR train & buses. Staff was friendly & attempted to answer all our questions. Could request for different types of pillows & new supply of drinking water in reusable bottles were provided daily.

room was a lot more spacious than the pictures suggested, which was a very pleasant surprise. hotel staff were very kind to place my luggage directly in my room when i left it for storage as i arrived earlier than check-in time. clean rooms that provided everything i needed. location was awesome in that it was directly connected to the JR station and connected to a department store, I could just walk down to catch my train or do some shopping.
