Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport - 3 mins walk to the airport

The amenities! Location, Staff and room were beyond expectation! There were lots of restaurant Choices, but we dod not use them during our stay since the Aeroplaza is right next door!

Would like to have seen an Onsen or swimming pool. No fitness center available either!

Hotel is conveniently located for a one night stay if arriving late or need to catch early flight. Friendly staff. Room is spacious and clean. The amenities in the bathroom were great as I didn?t have to unpack for toothbrush, lotion, etc.

Awful mattress. Woke up with sore hip and shoulders because the mattress was so hard. Mattress seemed like wood board with thin foam attached not an actual mattress. Hotel is dated. The hallways smell of dust and mildew.

The staffs are warm and friendly! - I am grateful to their assistance when I was in need. ????

Not much things to do around the hotel

3 minutes walk from Terminal 1 via connected covered walk way - also to train station. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Room was comfortable, all good quality amenities provided.

Nothing at all

The best accommodation option if you're flighting out early from Kansai airport. It has all the facilities needed for a short stay. The hotel is connected to the airport terminal 1, no noise issue. The room is spacious.

The staff were very friendly and helpful

Hotel was very close to the airport and easy to navigate to. It made my stay with a family of 8 and 2 toddlers easy to transfer to the airport for an early morning flight.

So welcoming after a long flight! Was the perfect place to stay when arriving on a delayed flight at 1am, comfortable, clean, with a Lawson downstairs.

Proximity to the airport -- less than 3 mins walk from T1 to this hotel. There are decent food options around. 5mins train ride to Rumi Outlet mall. The train is just mins walk from the hotel and the train departs every 10-15mins with just one stop to Rumi outlet station. While there is a walk to Rumi from the train station but it's a straight forward easy 5mins walk.

My flight from Sapporo to Osaka got cancelled with the earliest next flight out the following day. So, I asked the hotel if I could get a refund. Initially, they told me they can't help me because booking done through booking.com. Then, booking.com referred me back to Hotel to try to get a waiver or potentially move the dates. So, I did as suggested. But, I think Hotel thought I was being unreasonable with my request and cancelled 2nd night hotel booking unilaterally without my consent. When I eventually arrived at the hotel the second day, the staff were unable to locate my reservation, and it was only then that I was informed of the cancellation. At no point prior to arrival was I notified that my booking had been cancelled. Frankly, I'm asking all these questions to do my due diligence for insurance claim. And, I wasn't disrespectful or impolite in all my exchanges. The unliatetal cancellation by Hotel without me knowing broke the trust. If hotel cannot fulfill my request, they can jolly well tell me politely. Instead, they took the easy way out to blush me off. That said, the hotel front desk was kind to rebooked me for my second night and offered me a late check out for free eventually. I did have to pay for 2 nights despite only staying for one and this is reasonable as the late flight cancellation at Sapporo didn't give me enough time to meet hotel free cancellation deadline. All I'm doing is my part to make sure I am claiming travel insurance with integrity.

Clean, comfortable and delightfully quiet, considering the hotel being so conveniently close to planes taking off, plus trains from Osaka and Kyoto rolling nearby. Our exact arrival time was a bit hard to accurately predict, however when we arrived later than expected, the hotel check-in staff was cheerful, efficient and professional.

Our room was huge so nice to be able to spread out - particularly as we always need space to open suitcases. Twin beds comfortable. Beautifully clean bathroom. Being a very large hotel and clearly showing some age - the hotel was fine for a one night stop over. Buffet breakfast was included in our booking. Extremely wide selection with Japanese and European options.

Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport says it's just 3 mins walk from the airport. We had difficulty finding it or relevant signage. We accidentally went down to street level and had to ask someone for directions. The pedestrian walkway bridge to the hotel is via the first floor of Terminal 1. A bit stressful after a long flight to have such difficulty.

Great stuff, great location and clean.

Room was great size but needed updating. Furniture was dated, and wallpapers and colors not to our liking. Bathroom was not on the same level as other hotels we stayed during our vacation.

Hotel next to Airport-Complex and the rather new facility & outfit.

Room assigned: No choice of side of building nor floor. My room 5066 was almost at the end of the building, a 200m walk from the escalator and just one floor above the parking.

The hotel’s management thinks it’s a good idea to get guests to check themselves in. Do they think tired travelers want to mess around with a tablet after a long journey?Sure, it doesn’t take long but it is still irritating. The limited savings on staff costs may not be worth it.

Great location with a 3 minute walk to airport security (domestic flight, terminal 1). Comfortable beds, large clean room.
