Garden Hotel Shizuoka

The location is easy to find and convenient in the city center. There are also many parking lots nearby. I like the room has more space than other hotel rooms in Japan. I spent only one night as a transit between my journey from Shizuoka airport to Lake Yamanakako so I didn’t get to experience any facility.

It could have more light in the room. I spent only one night as a transit between my journey from Shizuoka airport to Lake Yamanakako so I didn’t get to experience any facility.

Clean and modern hotel in a great location. Close to train station.

Comfortable bed. A good range of free toiletries at reception. As previous reviews said, the breakfast buffet is fantastic. Very reasonable price. Quiet room.

Dim lighting in room.

The breakfast was very good with local cuisines and ingredients. The location is excellent, just a short underground walk from the JR station. There are many shops and restaurants around. Hotel staff is helpful and professional. Room clean and relatively large. Highly recommended.

Nothing. Will stay here again next time in Shizuoka. The reception is on the top floor - but there is nothing I didn't like.

Breakfast was extensive and fresh and great. The room was comfortable in every way. Great shower. The wifi worked great as well.

Nothing in particular, though in the room I had there was no USB hub for charging. Plenty of plug sockets though.

The single room has big space, the breakfast is very delicious! Has different styles of food could choose! The staff is friendly.

Hotel is newly renovated and just a very short walk from the train station.

The windows could not be opened. The air condition didn't work properly. Thus, I had a very sweaty night because the room was too warm.

It's a nice place for the value, I booked a comfort room and had plenty of space! It's a very convenient location (although I didn't realize it was in such a nightlife area - it wasn't loud, though). The bathrooms were nice, breakfast was pretty good, and the front desk staff were friendly.

It wasn't as clean as I expected - the room was pretty dusty and there were some stains on the bedding - so I felt a little ill at ease. I don't know if I'd stay there again since there are other similarly-priced options.

The room is not properly cleaned up.I booked a non-smoking room but there is a smoking smell in the room and other room which staffs offered me.

Really clean and convenient location

Thin walls, i heard the room next to me

Great location in the city, easy check in and staff was friendly. Room as expected was small and cozy. It had everything you would need for a short stay. Zero complaints, would stay again!

Kind of odd, but the check in is not where you arrive in the property you must take elevator up.
