Hotel Livemax Kakegawa-Ekimae

Very close to the station. Clean and spacious room.

I’ve stayed at this hotel for 4th time now and it’s at a good location and is pretty decent.

During this stay the room wasn’t as clean. I could spot hairs on the curtain and carpet. The table was in pretty bad shape and for some reason there was a plant in one of the cups in the washroom.

Very great service, the room was very well equipped. The staff is polite and helpful. The price very competitive. I can only suggest this place.

The toilet leaked and the carpet squares were peeling off. The dark look of the hotel was uncomfortable. There was no headboard or wall where you sleep (the TV was on the wall the end touched), which was a little uncomfortable.

The location. Minutes walk n visible from the station.

Had better days. Also confusing about leaving luggage.

The elevator was really dirty and smelt. The corridor to the room had stains all along. The only availability they had was a smoking room but we did not realise how smoky this would be. The sheets, towels, pillows, room itself absolutely stunk and felt so dirty. We were meant to stay for 2 nights and so went down the first morning to ask if they had another room available even if that meant paying extra however there was a notice saying no staff available for another 3 hours and we was due to head out. By the time we got back, again there was no one at the reception and of course it was late evening.

TERRIBLE, DISHONEST, SCAMMY

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS HOTEL!As I write this, I'm still dealing with this hotel and booking. com's refusal to refund my over-priced non-stay of $94 from August 2023. They mistakingly booked a smoking room when I booked a non-smoking room. They agreed to cancel and refund within 10 minutes of my check-in but I haven't gotten any refund. Booking. com has given me 5 inconsistent excuses and Hotel LiveMax is not responding to any of their messages. They never contacted booking about my refund and took my $94.*Also, the hallways were stained and the room that we looked at for 3 minutes was disgusting - it smelled like soggy carpet and cigarettes.

It was convenient because it was close to the station.

The bathroom was nice but it was not clean. Specifically the toilet.

There is microwave without the room, which is perfect and super convenient. But the non smoking room stinks and the service staff did not provide enough towels, tooth brush and slippers for us.
