Hotel Associa Shizuoka

This hotel exceeded our expectations and we really enjoyed staying here! First, super great and convenient location right next to Shizuoka Station. There is also a Lawson right next to the hotel. The hotel lobby was very clean and spacious. The room pleasantly surprised us because it was very spacious and appeared a lot newer than the photos we saw online prior to the trip (not sure if they recently refurbished the rooms). It was very comfortable and clean and had a nice view of the train station. But there wasn't any noise problems from the train at all. We also had their buffet breakfast, which also exceeded our expectations! It was great. My most memorable items were the pudding, handmade onigiri bar, and curry. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we visit Shizuoka!

The hotel location is perfect, next to the station. The room size is big enough for my baggage. There are a variety of choices for breakfast, and tasty. Staff are very helpful.

I've stayed here before and was happy to go back. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they're always generous with storing bags (I added a night onto my stay and had to change rooms so they moved my bags for me to the new one while I went out for the day), higher floors have a really nice view of the city, and it's hard to beat the location right next to the station for the price.

Beautiful hotel in the lovely town of Shizuoka ! Very well maintained and a short walk from train station & a beautiful mall. Right next door to Family mart also. Staff member assisted us to the train station with our luggage! Beautifully decorated 5 star hotel - Gorgeous lights and music celebrating Christmas !Great views of Mt Fuji from our room!Highly recommend & we will return on our next visit to Japan ??✨✨✨

Large sized room for Japanese standard. Great location; walking distance to Shizuoka station. Great staff service, great extra guest amenities like free coffee and tea and ladies skin care amenities. Close to many good restaurants and shopping within the station. We drove; had convenient parking facilities adjacent to hotel. Great breakfast spread of Japanese and Western foods.

The room was surprisingly big and well designed. The location is excellent.

The breakfast buffet offered the same dishes during my several days of stay. More variety would be great.

The location is the best. It's next to the train station and Toyota rent a car. It's sourrounded by the department store and convenience store, restaurant, and drugstore. I highly recommend this hotel.

A hotelPersonnel came up toMe while I was having a cup of coffee in the reception room snd asked if I was staying at this hotel. I was properly dressed and not conspicuous. It ruined my trip and my perception of Japan. Never have I felt so insulted like I was not worthy of staying at this hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel to friends if hotel feels that only a certain type of person can afford to stay here

Great location, convenient transportation, and staff communicate in English well.

The position Is the best, Just a few steps outside the station and you have signs with the direction already at the station. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. And finally a bathroom where the light is not automatic and you can use the restroom at night without being woken up.

No complaints, just maybe the carpet was a little ruined and had some marks on it.

In close proximity to the station

The first room the hotel gave us has sewage smell. It was pretty bad. Staff gave us another room instead.

Location next to the train station was excellent. Staff, too, was great.

At first I thought we had been put into a smoking room instead of non-smoking as we had requested. When I called to question that, I was offered the chance to change rooms, and a staff member showed up at our door a few minutes later to take me to another room to preview it. It smelled exactly the same way. I decided it was more of a musty smell and ultimately got used to it. The bed was very uncomfortable; you rolled to the middle. The hotel could definitely use some refreshing. The lobby was gorgeous and spacious. That did not carry forward to the rooms.

Great location right next to the train station with comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price.

The room size was on the smaller side and onsite restaurants were very expensive.

Great location next to Shizouka Station

2900 yen for breakfast. One staff member could not speak English and would just nod and say yes to everything I said or asked which resulted in me taking 20 minutes to find my room. I eventually just asked someone else and even though they did not speak good English we communicated well.

Just across the street from Shizuoka Station with many shopping and dining options. Also walking distance to major department stores and attractions downtown

Although our stay was short, it exceeded my expectations. Staff were helpful and the location couldn’t have been better. Breakfast was a good and varied.
