the room was so hot, no fan, air con didn't do anything. the food was terrible for the price, $42 for a burger with a frozen patty, $20 for "French fries" that were undercooked wedges. resturant was even worse. no in room dining after 9pm. pretty dissapointed.

Beautiful surroundings, great location with a view on Mount Fuji. Members of staff are friendly. I would stay there any time when on Izu peninsula.Our private onsen (in the room) was great!

The hotel is very old, which is noticeable when walking around in the hotel. the pictures don’t look like reality, they use a weird filter for all the pictures, or increased the brightness by a lot.The shared pool and spa area feels worn out and needs a renovation. It looked like there is a lot of mold ob the ceilings.Go there by car if you can, because eating in the only restaurant available inside of the hotel is ridiculously expensive. Value for money overall is not good to me and I would visit this hotel again.

I surprised,They charged 20% more than our booked price even though we haven't taken any additional facilities like food and amenities, this happened the first time with Booking.com

Reasonable price among the Onsen hotels around that area

Facilities in the onsen are merely the basic, water temperature not very high. The paid dinner was not meeting my expectation for its price -- you usually get much better Kaiseki dinner at Onsen hotels as a dinner worth 15K JPY

There’s A COCKROACH in the room!!!And we told the service staff, he came to taking it out, but NO any Extra service or anything or apologies for us! It’s very awful and scary

Having a private onsen was amazing and so worth paying extra for! The staff were lovely and very professional.It was nice we could use the facilities of the wider resorts (zip line) but unfortunately it was not open while we were there due to the weather.The hotel is very isolated so we were glad at have a car to be able to explore other restaurants

Cockroaches, urine smell in the room, very dusty, the staff is clearly aware of the cockroach problem but are not doing much to solve the issue, there is cockroach gel applied but it won’t do much, we had 4 hours of sleep and had to change the room in the middle of the night despite that in the morning I had to go and ask the hotel staff for the new breakfast vouchers as they did not seem to care. I expected them to bring it for us. Also, their manager had a day off that is why I was told that I cannot talk to them. Had to cancel the second night and triple check all the bags to make sure that we won’t bring the bugs home with us.

There was quite a few insects in the room's onsen area. And few was actually floating (dead) inside the onsen.

The breakfast menu is exceptionally good with a huge range of choices. By comparison, the dinner menu is very limited and quite expensive.

Nice resort. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Shuttle bus to take you between properties and down to the local train. Lots of trees and other recreational options in better weather.

Rooms need attention, a lot was worn down or falling apart. Minor fixes that could be done in a couple of days.. Only one restaurant and way over priced. No other options besides a couple of breads and a ton of beer. Spa was very limited. Indoor hot tub only. Other resort has a nice outdoor onsen. Check in was a mess. Booking was prepaid and they initially wanted to charge us again. Reserved 2 rooms for 2 persons each, initially only had reservation for 1 room for 2 persons.

Bathroom and toilet area is comfortable. Love to wear Yukata. Mt.Fuji can be seen from the hotel lobby and there is sakura garden next to the hotel parking lot which can sit and watch Mt. FUJI. Hotel Staffs are helpful.

The room is quite large and there is coffee table and chairs but it was a bit cold night without heater so we better go to warm and cozy bed instead.

Fabulous view of Mt Fuji. Both an onsen and a swimming pool. Superb breakfast but rather expensive.

It is an old building but has been renovated and decently maintained. The meals were quite expensive but delicious.

We can’t think of anything that we disliked.
