Shizuoka Town Hotel

The location from Shizuoka station is about 5 minutes by walk. There are many restaurants and malls around. The streets outside the hotel were illuminated by winter light. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and quite comfortable.

The only thing was I couldn't locate the switchboard to room lights with the room key chain, but the staff helped me, and it was sorted immediately.

I did not like the location. So any bars and drunks around the streets . The street hawker(キャッチ) might block your path on way and try to scam you.

Location, convenience, cleanness, friendly staff.

The room is tiny, barely enough for one queen-size bed.

I like the ambiance and service of the hotel.

The hotel is presentable. And, I'm good to choose their service because the place give you quiet and peaceful environment that everyone wants.

The above-average business hotel in the heart of the entertainment district of Shizuoka-city. Note that because of the location, they appear to be strict about having outside visitors.

Nothing really.

Location near station n shopping area

Room little small

I liked Town hotel for it's location. It was right near downtown where all the activity is. And it was very easy to walk to from the station. I spent an evening there meeting friends so it was really easy to get back to the hotel afterward.

It wasn't a big deal to me since I wanted to be in a busier part of town, but it is not exactly secluded. It is right in the middle of bars and restaurants and there were very many people walking around and having fun during the nightlife hours. I wouldn't say this is a negative, just something to consider if you want something more quaint and removed.

Good locationI stored my luggage before check in and they put it in my roomFree breakfast (consists only of several kinds of bread but it´s good enough)

Can't speak to breakfast, as I had to check out at 6 am, before breakfast offered at 7am. The room is very small, but very smartly laid out, and for my purposes, it was a great value, near Shizuoka Station.

Too heavy a blanket for the warm weather.

Location in comparison to station was great and walkable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was a selection of pastries and soups that made for a nice breakfast. Variety of room consumables were a nice touch.

Enjoyed the free drinks at the counter available 24/7. Appreciate the simple breakfast.

Good location, staff were friendly

The breakfast was not that good.

Good location, nice staff, and continental breakfast was a plus

Near to station Great localization, near to station and have a lot restaurants bars and coffee shops

The room, facilities, staff & wifi were really good. Breakfast was good.

Nice and clean hotel, nice location, nice staff and a nice place to rest

The room, staff, wifi were good. There was breakfast included & a microwave was available.

Nothing in particular

The room, facilities, staff & wifi were good

The staff were friendly & helpful, the room & facilities were good. A basic but reasonable breakfast was included. 24 hour front desk. Value for money was reasonable.

Nothing really

The hotel provided free breakfast with varieties of bread and soup. Free 24 hour drink bar is good.

There is only 1 room key for double/ twin room. Not convenient for 2 residents having different schedule. The internet service is weak, the facilities are really old. The bathroom ceiling with water dripping down.
