Hotel A'bant Shizuoka

The staff was very helpful.

Breakfast was available, which was good. The breakfast was partially pre-packed per guest, and the number of breakfast was limited.

The view from our view was great and the location was pretty central to suburbia and metro station. Staff was helpful despite the language barrier. Breakfast was adequate.

The beds were awful— simply uncomfortable and if it weren’t for our hot shower, I would have struggled the rest of our trip that day.

The お茶漬け and Juice from breakfast were great, kinda hope they were some toaster to toast the bread. Overall it was a nice stay

Room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom.

I like their location as it was not far from the train station. I could walk there with my hand luggage without taking a taxi.

The room which was assigned to me was not according to my preference. I requested for a room near the lift lobby. Instead they provided a room at the end of a corridor to me and this was totally not acceptable to me. I asked their receptionist if he could change my room for me but he said there was no more room available. Although my room was with a built-in balcony, I dared not open its door because it was adjacent to the next room's balcony with a partition in between them only. There was no bottled water supplied to me so I could only boil some tap water to drink. My room looked clean and tidy but it was a bit stale to me, especially the bathroom and toilet area.Lastly, their breakfast was with limited choices as there were a few sets of breakfast with main courses for us to choose. This was the first time I was offered with this kind of breakfast during my lifetime travelling experiences. Also, the volume was not in big portion but they supplied ample bread and rice to us.

Bed was super hard and we couldn't get an extra pillow, so ended up using towels.

I liked the location of this hotel. It was very close to the station and a store I wanted to visit. The amount of space available in the room was also better than what I typically get in Tokyo in an APA hotel. The staff is really great on this hotel. Check in and Check out was a quick and painless process.

The rooms are a little dated but work. The breakfast was also a little lackluster but it was my personal opinion because I am not used to Japanese breakfast. I at more than half my plate before checking out and got something else in a konbini.

The included breakfast was absolutely fine. The room was clean and large enough. Pretty standard hotel stuff done well, I'd say.

Not a big fan of the elevator going up to our room, but that's a minor complaint, honestly.

The hotel is very close to Shizuoka Station! The staff was very friendly and helpful:) We stayed on one of the higher floors and the view was very beautiful? At morning, there is a traditional Japanese breakfast. Our room was also quite big for Japanese standards. Overall, we had a great stay and we would definitely recommend the hotel, especially when considering the price?

Great price and close vicinity to station. Lovely touch that the hotel included information on the prefecture office viewing deck. We otherwise wouldn’t have known it was a place to visit.

Free breakfast for all guests and it was very tasty. The staff were really nice as well and it was only a 5 min walk to the train station and a 10 min walk to the main Shizuoka city centre, which meant the hotel was nice and quiet at night.

The beds are quite hard, which was fine, but something to note.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel as I had everything that I needed at my disposal. Amenities could be found in the hotel lobby, washing machine at the second floor and nice personnel that took care of cleaning my room ? Many train/subway stations were at a walking distance and that simplified my trips a lot. Akihabara is just 15 mins away by ?

Cheap hotel with breakfast. Staff is super helpful. The hotel is just 400 meter from Shizuoka bus station which is in front of Shizuoka train station.

Don’t provide drinking water.

Excellent position, short walk away from the station. The staff is welcoming, professional and very competent in speaking English. Breakfast was good and abundant in quantity.I was offered to leave my luggage after the checkout time so I could enjoy the city and pick it up before departing.Two water bottles were included each day with every pack of fresh bathroom towels.

The location was quite good, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean.

It’s close to the station,but not so close that it’s noisy. There’s a large ground right across the street. Breakfast was healthy and efficient. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

I would say it felt a bit narrow, but that’s to be expected.
