Pros +
- It’s situated in very convenient location and the staff are very friendly.
- Convenient to train station
- Overall, it is a very nice and economic stay in the city center. The beds were clean and spacious for a dorm room, the common bath was a lovely addition to my stay and the staff was super friendly.
Cons -
- The hotel room floor was or looked stained.
- Breakfast...please offer fruit, yogurt, toast and coffee and not meat, salad, soup
- The lack of sound isolation. I stayed in the women's dorm, which was accessible from the main door room via key, but instead of the door there was a semi-partition. Meaning that all the light and noises coming from the main dorm was visible and audible even if everyone in the women's side was quite and the lights were off.

Good Location, 2 minutes from Shizuoka station. Comfortable bed and all amenities inclusive.
The 5th floor has lots of microdust due to ventilation issue. So if you are allergic to dust, then this place will make it difficult.
I really liked the Wi-Fi — the speed was impressive. I also appreciated the complimentary tea.
The air conditioning was a bit too cold, and I couldn’t find a way to adjust it.
The location is great and the staff is very attentive. The beds are also very clean
Fair warning the shower is communal with the onsen and theres a set time limit... The bunk bed ladders aren't the most comfortable to climb and also not every bed seems to have the same space :/ .
Good location to the train station. It seems to be newly renovated as well. Plays nice songs at the lobby.
Nothing to complain about.
Cheap, clean, good location. What else do you need
Sheduled bathtimes were a bit an inconvenience. Because it was so new I was confused with all the rules and the staff did not speak English to explain. The aircon in the bed was directly over the pillow so it was SUPER loud. Had to sleep the wrong way facing so I could get some sleep. You cant turn the lights off in the room so it will always be light. Even tho my room was separated from the hallway there was a large space over the door and the main door was right next to it. So everytime someone is going in and out the door was squeking and I woke up.Beside from that it was very nice! Got a welcome drink and things like Pyjamas and toothbrush
The lady staff is really friendly and works hard to accommodate foreigners for a nice stay.
Maybe it would be nice to have a towel hanger in the public bath when showering.
Great location and easy to get to
Odd one, can only have have a shower at particular times.
The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious (giving aesthetic vibes). Breakfast offered was very good. The staff were fr
Great location as very close to the station and very clean and comfy bed!
It was super clean, safe and staff were friendly and accommodating.
The price for the dorm bed was expensive but it was a high demand weekend.
Clean and affordable, close to the train station.
Only one washer, always busy. I choose this hotel as a step for my laundry but I have not been able to make it.
a very clean, very modern hotel. this hotel is a couple minutes walk from shizuoka train station which makes it incredibly convenient. the staff were very friendly, and there were many amenities available (all sorts of toiletries, fresh towels + robe/nightgown everyday, even over the ear headphones) there's also a drink station on the first level which offers coffee, and soft drinks like coke, and orange juice. I stayed in the dormitory suite, and I think overall the value for money was good and I would consider staying again.
now as many people have already pointed out, the bath/shower is a public bath. I didn't mind too much, but it can definitely be uncomfortable if you are not expecting it. also the gendered shower times always ended up working out for me, but it can definitely be annoying if you arrive before or after your designated time and aren't able to bathe when you want. My biggest issue was actually the dormitory lights. the main lights stay on 24/7. And even though the curtains block out most of the lights, for someone like me who needs a dark room/dim lighting to sleep, the light that shines through the curtain was too bright and I needed to use a sleep mask (which i don't really like using because I don't like having something press on my eyes).
only 3 minutes walk to JR stationclean and quiet
Good location near the station and friendly staff.
The room and the bed were very small, the bed could barely fit two people.
a comfortable bed; a well thought out space for a private double room with bathroom and mini fridge. Overall: excellent value for money.
i had booked a place in the women's dormitory that afternoon, but when i arrived at 10 pm minus few minute i was informed that it was not possible to take a shower because the bathroom was reserved for men after 9:30 pm ?? having traveled by bike all day under a blazing sun i couldn't not take a shower before going to bed (!!!) the very nice (and efficient!) receptionist —who was super welcoming despite my arrival only a few minutes before the end of check-in— then offered me a room for 1000 yen more... ok, it was the best solution, and it allowed me to be much more comfortable than in a dormitory but i would have liked to have been informed beforehand of the shower times...
The most modern hotel ever. Super comfy capsules with smart TV, free soft drinks and coffees, good value for money.
Couple issues. Firstly the shower system does not make sense, you can only used the shower between certain (very limited) hours and there is only a shared bathroom so no privacy when showering.Secondly the room to the shared dorm broke meaning for over an hour we could not get into the dorm and no one could leave. This wasn’t resolved till 12.30 am. I had booked for one night and asked that evening to extend, the receptionist said no problem. The next morning at 10.15 a lady woke me up by banging on my bed and shouting at me in Japanese, I gathered she was telling me I had overstayed. She did not understand English so it took me a while to translate this issue, was not a great start to the day.
