Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Shizuoka Ekinan

The hotel had an ideal location for us as it was so close to the train station—we were easily able to visit two museums in under one day, one 17 k away and one the other side of the station. Our room was quiet, and the view was of the city rooftops and the sunrise over the hills. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, basic but with anything we needed. The staff were all extremely helpful and we appreciated their ability to speak English as they arranged our bag transfer.

Unusually for a Japanese hotel, our bathroom had a fan. Yet despite this, there was a noticeable musty mouldy smell in the bathroom, although the bathroom was extremely clean. Perhaps the fan filter needed changing. I mentioned this when leaving, so given the cleanliness of the hotel, this has probably been fixed.

Great location near the train station. Great value. The rooms were much larger than other similar business hotels. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly reception staff.

The proximity to the train station and the convenience store.

Little signage stating the reception area is on the second floor.

Location was great - walking distance to JR Shizuoka station, clean and good size spacious room, mini fridge - 2 complimentary water bottles, good amenities included, restaurants & shopping nearby, WIFI was excellent

Price could have been better per night stay

Only stayed one night, but we were charmed by Shizuoka as a medium-sized city with plenty to do and eat. This hotel was centrally located so navigating was a breeze. The room was spacious, more than other places we stayed while in Japan. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, allowing us to try many Japanese dishes we wouldn't otherwise try. Highly recommended.

The location of the property is very central. 250 M to the train station. Their breakfast was tasty but limited offerings.

The bathroom was not very clean, there were hair on the floor when we checked in. The bed was mentioned as for 2 but it was too small for 2 people, we couldn’t sleep well.

Room was comfortable and location was great. Easy to walk to different sites and close to the train station. Lots of choices at breakfast.

Within a less than 5 minute walk to Shizuoka station, this hotel was very convenient to explore the city, access transportation, and be within range of shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view from higher floors. There are multiple coin laundries within the hotel, and the first floor has a direct entrance to a 7-Eleven store, so it is very convenient for all your needs.

Very good

Their rental bikes were tiny and not in a good condition. Do not it for long rides.

So friendly & accommodating! They loaned us a wheelchair for 2 days & it was a godsend!

The location at night was a bit sketchy, but not unsafe!

The room is too small for 3 people. No window. No extras such as a lounge or cafeteria to sit, no free drinks, coffee or happy hour.

The location of this hotel was absolutely excellent, just a short 5-minute walk from Shizuoka Station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation, dining, and exploring the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room—it was much more spacious than we had anticipated, providing ample space to move around comfortably. There was also plenty of storage for our luggage, making organizing our belongings much easier. In addition to the generous space, the room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with fresh linens and a tidy atmosphere that made our stay even more enjoyable. The combination of the hotel's prime location, spacious and well-kept rooms, and overall comfort made our stay incredibly pleasant. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shizuoka and would definitely choose to stay here again in the future!

Location, comfortable bed, pleasant staff

A simple but comfortable hotel, walking distance from the station and great for a quick trip to Shizuoka! They can hold your luggage before and after checkin/checkout which is very convenient and the rooms were plenty big for one person. They had a My Hero Academia collab while I visited which made it even more fun!

The location is opposite of most tourist areas so you may have to walk a bit!

Great location, short walk to the station. Room was much bigger than other hotels we stayed in during our trip. Clean and comfortable. Lots of food options close to the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very helpful staff. We checked in much later than expected as we stopped for some sightseeing. The hotel was very helpful in labelling our parking space so it was really good. The hotel is on a quieter street and check-in is on the 1st floor. The rooms were a good size and clean. The hotel served a great breakfast too. There is a 7-11 on the ground floor.

Close to train station, simple check-in, clean room.

The location very close with shizuoka station and the staff very helpful also one of them can speak bahasa with me

Perfect location. I could get to/from the station without hassle. The room was clean, which is an important factor for me, so I liked that. The staff were friendly and helpful, which I appreciated.

I don't have any complaints. The hotel suited my needs.

Very close to the station. The room size is good and the room is clean.
