Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Shizuoka-Ekikita

Awesome shower! Pretty comfortable bed. The room size is pretty normal for Japan (SUPER small).

The breakfast was good, but after a few days the same pastries for breakfast gets really old.

Spacious room, lovely shower and tub, wonderful amenities and staff.

We were not able to reduce the temperature and humidity of the room enough for it to be comfortable.

Small room but sufficient, breakfast was not very good. I think I got scammed by the parking lot they recommended, they said 1300 yen and I ended up paying 5400 yen.

Location is great. Underground connection to both main train stations.Room keeping policy is easy understanding and eco-friendly. Smart.Laudry machines has a tracking link and one-touch through wash-and dry. Thoughtful and convenient.

The curtain wasn't fully blackout.

Good location, across the street from the station. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Room was bigger than expected. Bathroom too. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent, bread items from a local bakery chain.

Excellent hotel, straight across the road from the station and walking distance to all city sights. Very kind and helpful staff held our luggage for the day and offered extra pampering face mask and toiletries for our stay. Room was perfect for an overnight stay - great bath tub, hot shower, warm room and movies available even though we didn’t use them. An amazing food market below the hotel at the station.

The room felt small for two people and the bed wasn’t very solid.

Excellent value for the price . 5'900 yen was a bargain for a room that was comfortable and had all the amenities, even with a bathtub). Initially, I was worried about the noise from traffic, but the window is soundproof. Nice location opposite to the train station.

The hotel has only one elevator, so be patient.

I liked the location. It was very close to the station and shopping areas.

The room was smaller than expected and I didn't like the smell. I had to keep the air purifier on the entire time.

The room is comfortable. The window when opened offers good ventilation and lighting. From the main station you will need to either go thru the underground or so some detour to reach the hotel as there is no direct crossing available due to the bus terminal. Plenty of dining choices nearby.

I did not try the breakfast as I have some issue with bread digestion. But it is as per some reviews on the site that mainly breads were offered for breakfast. And as it is by the main street, Shizuoka has the most siren over the different places that I stayed over the past month. But with the window shut not so much of an issue.

Very close to train station. Comfortable and clean.The first guy at the check’in was nice, polite and very helpful.

The lady there on the morning after the first night refused us for breakfast because it’s “reservation only”. I understand but there was almost nobody and also nobody offered us to book it.Also she was pretty far from nice, the opposite of the first guy we met.

Would have given it 10/10 if breakfast choices had been healthier. Needs some fresh fruit and eggs.

Breakfast terrible. The ONLY choices were different types of bread. Bread with this, bread with that... No healthy food, no salads, no eggs, no Japanese-style breakfast. If you like nothing but. bread for breakfast you'll be happy. But if you prefer even a small choice and something healthy, go somewhere else. Even the same hotel chain Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio on the south side of the same station had a MUCH better breakfast. So make sure you book that side, Ekinan. NOT Ekikita.

It is directly across the road from Shizuoka Station. There is an underpass where the exit is near the hotel. The room and toilet is clean. The bed is comfortable. There are many restaurants around the area, including in Shizuoka Station. Several malls can be found in the area behind the hotel. The counter staff can speak English and are polite and helpful. Will definitely return again.
