Pros +
- Breakfast was average, nice selection, reasonable.
- Spacious room and parking
- Although the hotel is quite old, but it provides the old-day charm of Japan. Cosy lobby, taxi queuing waiting for customers outside the hotel, free water and amenities for customers, abandon and sumptuous breakfast, dinner venue 60m above ground to view the Nagoya city and Castle etc.
Cons -
- We would have liked a location closer to the train station and shopping area.
- Dated furniture
- Rooms were a little dated. The keys to the room are still the classical lock and key.

I felt great The lobby is hugeI can feel free park my car while check in & outThe staff is excellent The parking lot is huge A hundred car may be parked there I will stay here again if I had a another chance
Very clean and friendly staff Help us to book a rental car last min
Breakfast spread was wholesome with lots of local produce, the unagi restaurant at the top of the hotel was excellent! It was one of the best ones I've had for a long time. We were also given privacy and space at the restaurant that doesn't break the bank. Staff were friendly and responsive though they might speak limited English. Rooms and compound were clean. And if you're lucky, you get the castle view from your room! We came with a 4 year old kid and they gave us an extra bed without us requesting for it, which was very thoughtful.

Good location good service good TV good city good food good view good anything.
Figure out one problem of this hotel feels hard to me.
Free parking. large area for stopping my car in front of the hotel entrance for dropping and picking up my family and luggage. close to city centre. room is spacious (compare to typical budget hotel in Japan).
old-style lobby area.
Great facilities, staff, & free parking. Comfortable enough.
A bit far from central Hamamatsu and the room is a bit dated
Beautiful lobby, great breakfast, multiple restaurants in same building-- the eel restaurant in particular was to die for. Also great location, 2 minutes from Hamamatsu Castle.
The room had an odor and was a bit shabby... silicone in the sink, etc. Room is small even for Japanese standards.
A sixties/seventies time capsule. Immaculately preserved. Good location, very clean, helpful staff. Definitely recommend.
The hotel room is exactly like you'd expect with all the amenities in place and comfortable beds. The extra cherry on top were the very friendly staff. Additional amenities were placed in lift halls for travelers who'd like them.
The first room we were given was clear that someone was smoking in it, though it was a non-smoking room. Fortunately, the staff were helpful and quick to give us another room.
The staff were wonderful! I enjoyed breakfast, too.
But the building was old.
Very clean and neat, not the newest hotel but small upgrades like on-wall USB charging ports makes it comfortable to live in. Also close to hamamatsu castle, very convenient to have a casual walk there.
Not major flaws for me, just that not every staff speaks English, but I always think that's a part of travel so I have no complain about it.
Friendly staff, good location
Pleasant
The inner of the hotel is just 2-3 star hotel level. The breakfast is not good enough as 4-star hotel as well.
Free parking provided!
Rooms due for refurbishment…… a bit out dated and looked old.
Definitely the breakfast!
A little bit far from the shopping/dinning area in walking distance.
Close to the castle and convenient store.
Good breakfast and evening meal
nothing in particular
