Apa Hotel Kagoshima-Chuo-Ekimae

Everything was great , location , rooms , clean ....... But the thing that I found to be phenomenal , was the staff and their total dedication and genuine liking of the guests . I will always stay there and if I could give the staff 100 stars I would .

Nothing , everything was above and beyond excellent . I have stayed here twice now for a total of 8 days , and not one thing was bad .

Close proximity to JR shinkansen station and the tourist information center. The Amu Plaza shopping mall next to the shinkansen station was convenient for restaurant access.

It’s clean. Staff are very nice and friendly. And it’s near from the mall and bus station.

I stayed tight night and second day’s fresh towel was not ready before 3 pm.

Umm Not really

The hotel is located in a great location right next to Kagoshima Chuo station. The staff were friendly and the check-in and check-out process is very simple and easy to complete.

The walls of the hotel are incredibly thin. I often heard my neighbours even when they returned to their room or when they turned on their television.

Great cooked breakfast clean and quiet room

Air conditioner did not cool the room efficiently but as it was winter I opened the window so it was not really a problem

Convenient location, near to the Shinkansen station. Good amenities. Staff was very helpful.

The bed was too soft.

The biggest plus is the close proximity to the Kagoshimachuo Station which is a center for transportation, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel is very modern, rooms and facilities very clean, staff very helpful, well trained and experienced, especially when compared to US/Canadian/European hotels. Buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices. Since this is a Japanese hotel, its room size would be considered very small compared to other country hotels.

Kind of nick picky but the bathroom door would not stay open. Housekeeping was every third day, which was OK with me. The sidewalk to and from the hotel is uneven and busy. Those with mobility issues will have problems accessing the hotel.

room was very spacious especially by Japanese standards, very comfortable big bed and duvet. tv is generously large too, with some English on demand movies and BBC. entry step into bathroom is not too high.

Newly renovated room (except bathroom ). Nice and clean. The room amenities are well thought out and functional.

Very convenient location. Need to get up a few steps before getting into the hotel, which is not ideal for big luggage. Room is not too big but twin beds are comfortable.

Excellent location, essentially right outside Kagoshimachuo Station, with easy transport links to the rest of the city and very close to lots of food options. Room was compact as is expected in Japan, but very comfortable and well-equipped. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. I had a great stay here!

Decent sized room and you can store suitcases under the bed, which creates more space.

Pillows were very hard. The step from the bathroom was quite high, so it was dangerous.

Nice location, room is tiny and clear but fine for backpacker. Staff English is not good but still willing to help.

It’s near Kagoshima-Chuo station. However, if you’re travelling by highway buses, or taking the bus to Kagoshima airport, be sure to leave the hotel at least 20min before to ensure ample time to navigate your way to the bus station to purchase tickets as it’s quite abit of distance away. The room is standard business hotel size. It’s difficult to open up large size luggage. Room was clean and had the minimum amenities needed for a night’s stay.
