HOTEL MYSTAYS Kagoshima Tenmonkan Annex

Location was great for what we wanted to visit. Friendly staff.

Rooms are small. Dated. Bathroom was a bit dingy.

Location is very convenient

We asked for quiet room,but there are 2 very big machines on our balcony. Time to time, big noise came out and woke us up. It is frightening.

The hotel is well situated, especially if you enjoy nightlife. It is in the middle of the Tenmonkan area which is the lively night scene of Kagoshima. There is also a bus stop for the airport shuttle nearby.

The hotel room was quite small, suitable for solo travel. The bathroom was not super clean but not dirty. There is a bit of mold growing in hard to clean areas. I think the rooms just need a bit of love and a facelift to bring it to a higher standard.

Very small room

Hotel is just walking distance to the main shopping street Tenmonkan and mono rail- Tenmonkan dori, so it is convenient with my food choices. Receptionist is really friendly and food recommendations were superb. I was able to leave my luggages before check in and after check out before my next destination. Shower pressure was great.

No laundry facilities but there is a commercial and in fact cheaper laundry house just less than 2 mins walk away.The standard room is really small, not possible to open a large size luggage fully. And note that there is no wardrobe space, just few hangers on the wall.

Well located between the station and the port, in the city center.

not clean and room extremely small and more expensive than what I paid in other hotels on Kyushu of much higher quality.Noisy guests with children speaking loudly in the hallways in the morning.

Everything is fine, up to my expectations.

Man receptionists should be more friendly and helpful. If their english is not good, try to find ways to help and understand instead of brushing us off and giving us the call centre helpline for english.Lady receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

Helpful staff, great location

The room had absolutely no view, a concrete wall about a foot away and I think I was next to the hotels washing machines, which where loud.

Near shopping street, mall, and restaurant

Room are very small. Bed is small for 2people

It was in a central and lively location.

There was no view from the window. We were facing the neighboring building’s wall.

The bed is really comfortable.

Some rooms have pipes passing by the balcony, so you can hear the noise of the water when someone use the toilet.

Room had nice decor and the bed was comfy.

The bathroom was old and grimy.

The hotel is in a convenient location. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately being an old style hotel, the rooms are very small and the age of the building is very apparent.
