Hotel Urbic Kagoshima

Great business hotel overlooking Kagoshima Chuo train station. The staff are friendly and as you would expect, speak multiple languages. The room was a good size with plenty of space for large luggage storage but as is typical in Japanese hotel rooms, you would have open the suitcase on the bed.

Nothing, would stay again.

Helpful and a bit cold staff, lack of pillows

It is right next to the train station. The room was clean. The staff were friendly and gave me some restaurant recommendations.

It was basic, but clean. I chose it due to proximity to the shinkansen station, which worked out well. Good walking/dining options nearby. There was free coffee in the lobby in the morning, which I appreciated (not common in Japan in my experience). I liked that breakfast was optional and not included since I usually eat something very small, if I eat at all in the morning and don't like having to pay for a breakfast I won't eat. There is a breakfast offered for an additional charge at check-in.

Room was very small by US standards, but normal for a Japanese business hotel.

Location, just walk from Kagoshima chuo ststion in the quiet side 3 mins. Hotel provide free fresh coffee. Thanks.

Location was close to the station and staff were very nice. The room was unusually spacious. Beds were big and comfortable.

Room was a little old and walls dirty. There was no control of air conditioning. There were signs that the hotel had the air on heat mode and it was too hot. Also, the other side of the station would have been more convenient.

The location is excellent, next to shopping centres and train station. Many food choices nearby.

Ideal location to the rear of station. Less traffic. Family Mart is near. Room is spacious for the price. Shower facilities is great.

The breakfast was so unique because it was pre plated so no food gies to waste .. the restaurant is pleasant .. i think its a business hotel ..but it was good and i did loke my room it was bright and sunny and had anice view Thank you

I think the sheets were not changed from the previous guests .. also the bathroom had hair from the previous guests and the metal fixtures were not shined ..

It’s very clean. It’s comfortable room and close to the station so you can enjoy every transportation type there.

Very good breakfast, large selection.The service is absolutely exemplary.Convenient location for those traveling by train, close to the station.Excellent price / quality ratio. Larger, more comfortable room still at a very attractive price.I would definitely choose again.

Smart newish building directly outside Kagoshima Chou station where Shinkansen arrives Close to catch trolley buses into town and to Sakurajima. Lots of eating places close by. Very functional room, quiet, nonsmoking property. Breakfast very good.

Wonderful location! Perfect place to travel around the city as it's right next to the train station. A cozy and comfortable room for the amount of time I stayed. Staff were very friendly and did their best to communicate with me.

One thing is just the chair in the room is not comfortable to sit in for longer periods of time when doing work. I don't find that to be a hinderance on the overall experience though.

The location is great, just next to Kagoshima Chuo Station. Lots of eatery and shops nearby, great for eating and shopping!

This hotel is excellent. I decided staying for one more night due to flight change. It is close to JR station and shopping malls. There are many restaurants nearby. The staff members are excellent too. They are friendly and helpful.

Location of the hotel near to the train station, convenient store and malls

Good location, very close to main JR station and Shinkansen. Good views of volcano from our high-floor room. Good Japanese-feel breakfast, but with more than just Japanese choices.

Location was good next to the JR station, room clean and good window view.
