    Pros +

    • The hotel room was pretty spacious compared to other business hotels in Japan. The one feature that stood out about this room was the deep soaking tub. The hotel staff was very professional. The hotel's amenities included a nice restaurant, onsite services, a nice Japanese public bath and sauna room, as well as a small weight room filled with lots of free weights and some cardio machines with a personal fitness instructor on site as well. The most appealing thing about this hotel was its location as it sits within walking distance of all of the restaurants, pubs, entertainment district, gyms, shopping, public transportation, etc. Very Convenient!
    • The absolute best hotel for the price. Everything is la 10.I didn’t eat in the restaurant however. The spa is wonderful. The staff are amazing .
    • Great location. Reaaonable size room. Breakfast had a good selection. Sashima is on request on only. There is parking but for a subsidised fee.

    Cons -

    • To enter the bathroom in your room, you have to take a step up and to get into the deep tub. You need to pay attention when coming out to bathroom as its a deep step. There needs to be an additional grab bar mounted in way when to assist in entering and exiting the deep tub.
    • We had a problem with our TV. They couldnt resolve it ao gave us free breakfast. The room was very clean but definitely tired.
    • Nothing to mention particularly

Very clean and respectful staff. There are no women onsen or sauna but they offered bedrock bath which was excellent. Good access to the trams and tenmonkan area too.

    Nothing to mention particularly

    10GianluigicardelliPosted on: 11-3-2024

Definitely a classy hotel, I liked mostly the interior design, a huge hall, a large stairwell allowing you to look up to the last floor, broad room.

    6DonnaPosted on: 10-25-2024

Breakfast was ok, but not as good as others in Japanese hotels.

The window in the room had opaque glass and we could not see outside.

    8KamilaPosted on: 10-8-2024

Nice location, quite close to the train station and port. You can find a lot of restaurants and entertainment points next to it. The hotel is under renovation till the end of October but it was quiet during our stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered very tasty japanese breakfasts.

    Old-fashioned bathroom and maze-like corridors

    6AnonPosted on: 9-1-2024

    Helpful staff.

We didn't know the hotel was under (exterior) renovation. The rooms had noticeable wear and tear.

    7VincentPosted on: 7-17-2024

They had hundreds of rooms and only two washing/drying machines in the building which closed at 10pm. I wanted to use it, but of course they were occupied. After 10pm they direct you to another washing machine in their annex building across the street, and the price for that was 2-3 times the price than any other hotel's washer/drier I have used in my stay in Japan.

Nice and spacious clean room, straightforward check-in procedure. Good location, maybe a 5 min walk from the shopping streets. Elevators have quite a bit of space as well.

The walk from Kagoshima-Chuo station is a little bit far, maybe a 20 min walk.

Usual Japanese hotel experience. Clean, friendly and efficient. Breakfast and service is great and location is very central, next to railway station with all amenities

    Nothing to dislike

    9MartinaPosted on: 11-12-2023

The room is very spacious and the bathroom is very comfy. We love the extra dining table and chair and huge table which is just fantastic

    8AntonioPosted on: 10-28-2023

Great position, close to tram stop cross, so you can choose among different lines which take you pretty much everywhere. 20 min walking distance from the train station. The room was larger than the average room in a hotel in Japan, so the quality/price ratio is quite high. I recommend it for long stays (>5 days)

Location is good, room is clean and service is good.

    7JedPosted on: 7-25-2023

Located fairly close to the train station and the pier with lots of food options close by. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had all the basic essentials. Green tea and kettle supplied. Plenty of water pressure. Excellent value for money.

The mattress was a little hard. It felt like it would have been a great mattress 5 years ago - not so much now.

    8AlexPosted on: 6-8-2023

Nice size room. Automatic lifts were cool. The interior of the hotel is really nice! Loads of wall sockets in the room. Staff were ok.

A but far from the station but everything in the room felt a little unloved; lose wall sockets, clearly covered-up bedside table and the nosiest air con ever.

    8FongPosted on: 5-31-2023

The hotel looks luxury, room is good size and close to the shopping street.

A bit distance from JR station

    9JackPosted on: 5-25-2023

The Onsen was brilliant. Very clean hotel with lovely staff.

Air con wasn't great but did work. Fairly noisey while trying to sleep

    10CheePosted on: 4-18-2023

Very nicely decorated room and friendly staff. Value for money with breakfast included. Location is in central walking distance to all eatery and shopping arcade. Will consider this hotel if visiting.

    Nothing specific.
