Hotel Sunflex Kagoshima

The location was good.

The room was not Non-smoking. The room had strong smoke smell. I had sour throat overnight. All rooms should be non-smoking.

Clean and comfortable

Very clean and practical location to trams and walking distance to the ferry to the volcano. Friendly and always willing to help staff. Awesome japanese breakfast! So delicious!

The location was very central and convenient to get around. The bath and sauna were both excellent. I would stay here again. ?

Delicious set meal breakfast (2 are japanese meals and both were delicious), comfortable rooms and beds, great location near the waterfront and combini next door

Perfect location. Not to far from the stores and taxi stands. Staff was very polite and helpfull even though i hardly spoke any Japanese.

Staff was great, breakfast was nice and bed were soft and comfy and the location was really convenient.

Laundromat dryer was not the best.Kind of hard to open your luggage in the room we had.

Standard business hotel. It was damp and dark, but it was raining when we stayed. Walls are a bit dirty.

Тhe hotel is very close to the port and also close to center. Normal business hotel, you have everything you need and very good for the price

The hotel was situated close to the tram station.There were shopping streets and many restaurants near the hotel. The room was big enough and comfortable.

Hotel is in a great location, city center is near ferry to Sakurajuma is near. The hotel staff are incredible, very helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed my time in Kagoshima

Hotel Sunflex Kagoshima is in a good position, not far from tenmonkan station, the aquarium and the ferry, if one wish (highly recommend) to visit sakurajima.For breakfast you can chose among four sets, which includes one traditional Japanese and one continental. No doubt in choosing the traditional Japanese one, miso soup was amazing.Staff polite and available as always in Japan.

The hotel is very well located — just a 10-minute walk to the ferry for Aoshima and also a short walk from the train station and the main city attractions. The Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious! The staff went above and beyond to help us. We had originally booked for one night but decided to stay an extra night, and they kindly arranged everything so we didn’t even have to change rooms. We know it was a very busy bank holiday for them, so we truly appreciated their effort, especially since we don’t speak Japanese and they were still able to assist us.

It´s Japan, hotel rooms are very small everywhere (unless you book an apart-hotel), bear that in mind!

Cockroaches in the room. Room looks like from 30 years ago. The smoking rooms are so smelly you can't breathe, even the pillows and sheets. I don't recommend.

It's clean, it's organised, its staff are excellent, the location is central, both Kagoshima and Kyushu are fantastically beautiful - there's nothing not to like.

Though the Room was a little smal, the price and location is unbeatable. Also the staff is very professional and polite and the rooms are very clean.
