Lalapanzi Hotel & Conference Centre

Location was perfect for our trip.

We checked in around 3 in the afternoon, collected our key and drove out to go see friends. On our return which was after 9pm to 10 pm gate is locked, security no where, we pressed the buzzer multiple times no response. We had to hoot at the gate and eventually security came to the gate to ask us if we have checked in. I told him yes. He must open the gate, he was gone for 15 minutes to get the gate remote. His response was the owner keeps the remote on him. I mean really whats the point of having security at night, That is an inconvenience and safety issue for your guest. I was not happy about that. Our A/c was not working, the TV was not working . Our one bed had bugs not bed bugs. Lighting was not sufficient. The bathroom was the only place with good lighting but we needed plugs.I'm glad they had hot water.

Amazing staff. Outstanding food. Adored the thatched roofs of this elegant and quaint hotel.

The food was horrible it tasted like it was cooked a week ago, the room was dirty filled with bugs and dust and also the bedding was dirty it was as if they were not expecting us

The room was comfortable and ideal for our purposes of inbetween travel days from Zimbabwe.Staff very friendly - dinner was nicely done, and bed and shower comfortable.

The electrics in the room with regards to the operation of the fridge, kettle and microwave were something to be desired as the various wires and extension cords were a) not working b) and a tangled mess hanging out of box on the wall. A multi adapter on the wall would be safer and more efficient than trying to plug various appliances into an extension cord that didn't deliver power to the appliances as it was obviously knackered with use over time with people plugging and unplugging the appliances.

The grounds are beautiful, the room is cute. I also liked that it's right on the N1.

The staff were friendly and warm and the place very clean. The hotel is very easy to find too

The shower top in the unit I booked? and the traffic noise due to its location. Those are the only two things I wish I could change

Staff was super friendly and the service/hospitality was amazing. Tranquil surroundings with enough space to escape the kids(when quiet time was needed) and ample playing spaces for the kids to escape the parents:-)Special thanks to Bridgette who went above the call of duty, internally grateful!

The stay was a dream come true. Management & staff were so competent, willing & genuinely happy. We felt so welcome. Accommodation was almost perfect. Detail carefully considered: aesthetically attractive, comfortable, clean.

In the sleeping accommodation: Wiring of the electrics for the wifi, tv, fridge, microwave, kettle relied on a single plug point. A small table next to these appliances for prepping a hot drink or snack was missing. These minor details caused inconvenience with time wasting and could cause safety issues.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Beautiful, tranquil.

Nothing..everything was perfect. Maybe a separate zink for dishes so that you do not wash dishes in bathroom but it was not a train smash.Parking for cars too far from your room. We were worried due to car theft etc.

The staff were exceptional. Yolandie called to check we were travelling ok as we arrived at night. She was extremely accommodating and friendly. We will definitely stay there again!

Nothing, everything was great!

The staff was exceptional helpful and assists in all needs.

The room was very cold and there was no means to heat up with the load shedding. This could have been preempted by heating it up whilst there was electricity (before we arrive)
