Breakfast excellent. Good central location and parking onsite

The hotel rooms are little outdated and need to be upgraded to the 21st century. The pillows and blankets and towels are very worn out. I normally use memory foam pillows. So I piled up 3 pillows, and they didn't reach a height of a brand new pillow

Not even close to a 4 star hotel as advertised

The property claims to be a 4-star hotel and is recommended by Booking.com as a Preferred Partner, which supposedly means it is "committed to providing commendable service and good value". In our experience, though, it offered the opposite of good value. Acoording to Google maps, it is only a 3=star hotel, but the facilities seemed to be actually closer to a 2-star property. The bed was rock hard, the room and especially the bathroom were very old and in desperate need of renovation. The bed was rock hard, the shower head was very dirty, the air conditioner did not cool at all and made a lot of noise. After leaving our luggage, we left for the day and returned only after 11 PM, when we noticed all the flaws. After some thought, we concluded the hotel was so bad that we decided to leave late a night to look for another one. The receptionist did not even look surprised when we told him we were leaving, and even though he agreed to refund us for 4 nights, he refused to refund the first night, as he claimed we had already used the room (despite us not having spent more than 15 minutes inside it).

Friendly and helpful staff, good location. Staff were very accommodating and gave me a quiet room when I asked for one.

Waiting time at the restaurant was way too ling. I spent almost an hour waiting. The staff told me it would take 20minutes but I had to chase them several times and finally had to cancel half of the hour as I gave up waiting.

Breakfast and Parking

Outdated hotel; not a 4 star hotel at all; bathroom very small and outdated, no place to put your higiene items. Shower with low pressure.

The location was fairly good, we could do mostly what we needed by foot with the exception of dinner. The staff was very polite and helpful. The parking lot helped a lot since we took the trip by car. The breakfast was also very nice.

As we had to work during the day, there was the unfortunate sound of somebody outside singing what got a bit tiring after so many days. The soundproofing of the hotel was not the best and in some nights i could hear the TV or talking from other rooms.

AC barely worked, napkins to use as toilet paper, poor toiletries, staff rude.

Amazing location in the heart of downtown. Spacious room with big windows and comfy beds. The breakfast was amazing and it makes justice to the delicious culinary of Minas Gerais. Walking distance of everything you needs, including some of the city sightings. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, always greeting us with a smile, no matter what time we walked through reception.
