Great location for Kochi city central. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel also provide paid parking cost 800 JPY.

Room is quite small but acceptable.

Exceptional breakfast, staff is very friendly and attentive. Room is very clean. Excellent location, walking distance to the shopping area, convenient store and restaurants. Umbrella is available for guests (free).

Mattress (bed) is little hard but plenty room.

The Kochi Sunrise Hotel is perfectly situated for exploring downtown Kochi. Within minutes of our arrival, we were out and about, exploring the area—short walk from Kochi Castle and an even shorter jaunt to a number of great restaurants and bars. In addition, the room was surprisingly large and the beds were comfortable. Great find.

The hotel is basic so do not expect any bells or whistles, but it accomplished exactly what we needed.

The hotel offers perfect services, the staff is very nice and helpful, parking at the hotel is very convenient. The hotel has an excellent location with an amazing view of Dogo Onsen. It also has private elevator access to the main shopping district. The room was super clean and wonderfully designed. Everything was thought out to the last detail and had a very luxurious feel, from the balcony there is a great view of Dogo Onsen and all of Matsuyama with the castle and mountains in the distance. As part of the accommodation, you can visit the onsen on the top floor with an amazing view, or you can book a private onsen. We used this option and highly recommend it, everything was prepared, perfectly clean, an amazing experience. The rooms have a selection of traditional home clothes, including shoes, sorted by size. Live piano evenings in the hall are also a bonus. The stay at the hotel was perfect, both due to the professional approach of the staff and the great atmosphere. If you want to have a great experience of your stay in Matsuyama, definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you Katerina a Tobias

It was clean and comfortable with free wifi.

The location was a bit out of the way and western breakfast options were underwhelming.

In an excellent location, very central in Kochi City. The room was small but efficient and comfortable with ample amenities. The staff were super kind and the communal bath was small but sufficient. The bed linens were good as well.

The communal bath locker and shoe room could have been a bit cleaner. I could also hear things in the hall very clearly, and potentially in neighboring rooms as well.

It is a convenient location in the heart of Kochi right next to HIrome market. It was a clean modern Japanese business hotel with private baths. It also has a public bath on the top floor (for men) which grants a view of Kochi city

Location is perfect for me since I arrived by car and it is within convenient walking distance to the restaurant area (Hirome market) and Kochi castle. And street cars run through right in front of it - perfect for pictures. Parking lot is behind (to the south of) the hotel and fees are paid at the hotel. Staff were friendly and made great efforts to communicate with us despite the language barrier. Room was out-of-fashion but still at the standard level of a Japanese business hotel. Had a good sleep.

Lights are a bit dim in the hallway. The dryer located in the men's public bath needs to be cleaned - there was a lot of obvious dust
