Comfort Hotel Kochi

Even though the room is only 22m², the layout is good, so we fit our 2 big suitcases and 2 small ones, as well as space to walk around without much bothering.

Breakfast could be better, it's a bit too simple..

Really well run, super clean and modern hotel. We were really impressed and excellent value and very good breakfast.

This is truly a near perfect hotel. The location, larger room size, great beds and pillows, very nice breakfast and quiet room were greatly appreciated. There really was only one frustrating flaw on five of our six night stay…

This hotel desperately needs a large sign in the elevators written in Japanese, Chinese and English asking guests to not talk in the hallways. Kochi is a city where many people come to drink alcohol until late at night, and they woke us up many times almost every night. The severely drunk men across the hall from us were awful even at midnight until I asked the front desk to speak to these guests. Fortunately they did and on our last night all was quiet. It is a shame that there are so many rude guests that ruin the staff efforts to provide a pleasant stay. Despite all this, this hotel still gets five stars in my book.

We booked two rooms, a double room and a twin room and got both rooms next to each other on the same floor. However, upon entering the double room, even though the room was meant to be a non-smoking room, the room have a very strong smoke odour. The hotel staff was able to accommodate our change request but could only give us a twin room on a different floor. The keycard security access is a good feature, but when its a hassle when our party is separated on different floors. Luckily, we only stayed a single night, so it wasn't much of a hassle. Would recommend the hotel look into the cleaning procedures to avoid this.

The location is near the station. It's very convenient . Btw, there are enough power outlets in the room

The room is like the usual Japanese room. It's not that big.

The bed was comfortable! And, pillow. Staff were so helpful and friendly. They have self luggage storage option which is great (locks and wires that go through bag handles to secure them). Breakfast - nice selection. Clean facilities and room!

A vert well-located hotel, within easy walking distance to the train station. It was,clean and efficiently run, with friendly staff.. The breakfast buffet options were outstanding, with Western and Japanese offerings, of excellent quality. A great base in Kochi, for local and regional travel.

This hotel is a great choice for business or a traveler. The staff is very helpful, but has limited english, so be patient and understanding. They were considerate to our needs to secure our bikes in a locked area near the parking lot. Next to the lobby is dinning area that when not in use it functions as a library / gathering place and has a beverage service of coffee, tea and water. It was great to use for small group gathering in the afternoon or evening.

Breakfast service was busy, but they are aware of it. They may consider limiting the capacity in time slots of 30 minutes when you check in. This is voluntary now. Nothing really seems to cross my mind that was negative however.

It was very close to the train station, the staff were super helpful, the rooms were a good size and everything was very clean!

Excellent hotel with a fantastic staff. Clean room and very comfortable bed. It has a very good breakfast buffet with a lot of food and drink options. Location is 10 minute walk to Kochi Station and about 20 minutes walk to Hirome Market and a shopping center. This hotel is very well run and the staff are very nice.

Decent location; bland, perfect hotel, Decent breakfast, parking expensive if you get there before 3:00.

Welcoming drinks at any time, coffee, juice, tea. Good buffet breakfast. A few minutes' walk from the station, and 10 minutes or so walk to the main shopping/eating area and Sunday Market. A good, comfortable option.

The parking is difficult - there's limited parking at the hotel. If you don't get in early, they'll direct you to partner parking spots, which is annoying. But the partner parking did end up being cheaper, and they're only a couple minutes' walk from the hotel.
