Pros +
- We enjoyed the quiet area and the size of the room. The facilities were very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were very nice restaurants close to the hotel.
- The hotel manager went way beyond his duties for us! Top man. Bike hire was great. We rode a 23k loop up to the Castle, a beach & cafe.
- The room was a reasonable size.
Cons -
- We found the location of the washing machines on the roof, which was dark at night and there is a gutter to step over just outside the door. We also found the driers were poor at trying the clothes. I would recommend going to a laundromat
- Big stain on the quilt cover on one of the beds. Black mould spots on the roof of the bathroom and the bathroom door rubber seal. It seemed very overpriced considering the lack of attention to cleanliness...
- Minimal facilities, e.g. lack of coffee cups and drinking glasses.
